I don't see an issue with adding a few credits and playing them out without someone making you feel bad for doing it... but I can understand concern if you add 8 credits, play 20 minute games and win credits every other game, then it will be hours of waiting for someone else... at which point they are obligated to coordinate with you no different than weight room etiquette... wait for their turn or play in.
