Does it matter where you live? Or do they ship the prize?
Quoted from fisherdaman:Any word on when the drawing will be?
Its at 6 pm tonight. I got an email.
I'm still waiting on a translite won from the March drawing. Don't think I will be participating in any future ones until it arrives.
I won a translate in the past and received it. They just got a place so I'm sure they're busy and moving around a lot but they'll get you the prize.

I would shoot a email to Joe, sounds like something got mixed up. Did you contact him when you won?

Yeah I've emailed Joe a few times. Definitely understand he is busy with the move going on though.
If thats a picture (way back in the thread) of the may drawing winners how to I collect my prize?
It looks like I won something from the may drawing? lol
Maybe a copy of pinball arcade?

Congrats to Brian Foytik
Thank you. I've decided to upgrade my prize to the Star Wars Premium for the price difference. I will be lucky if I receive my game in September, I think.
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Does this Charity do more than one Raffle a year?
Good question! And how do you collect a prize if you win?
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Does this Charity do more than one Raffle a year?
Yes. As one closes and winners are drawn, another raffle is opened.

Reply to the email from Pinball EDU from the May winners.

Thanks. They start another , cant find it?
Make sure you research before contributing. A low percentage of money collected actually gets used for helping kids.

A better question might be, "Does this raffle do charity?"
Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:Make sure you research before contributing. A low percentage of money collected actually gets used for helping kids.
How low? What's the percentage?
Quoted from Dee-Bow:How low? What's the percentage?
I haven't seen more recent information than what's been posted already.

I think you are being a little unfair in your math. This is essentially a 50/50 raffle, so it is assumed that around 50% of the money taken in is used toward buying the prizes (in this case 58%). Would be nice if Stern was giving the machines to the charity, but that is not the case.

Ya, I thought this has been already discussed about 5 months ago.. redundant conversation. No one forces anyone to buy..u not like..u not buy is what I got out of it. Same thing if you feel like the drawing of the winning ticket isn't done fairly.
Quoted from fisherdaman:Any update on when the drawing will be? I haven't received any emails.
Website says Sept 1st.
Quoted from pinballinreno:Maybe Ive won another prize that I wont get ...
Did you ever PM the OP as I mentioned?

I even contacted them through PM on Facebook as well.

Hopefully we will get an email by tomorrow to verify the amount of tickets everyone had purchased.

I tried all of that and no response as of yet. They must not like me.

Still waiting on my translite from the April drawing.

Good luck with that...

Fool me once shame on you....
There are other raffle options out there. Maybe they would be a better option.
People don't care about all the sketchy stuff around this. They just want their raffle. I wish they would just drop the pretense and call it flat out a pinball machine raffle where the owner might occasionally do something for a kid.
Go to Project Pinball Charity and donate there. You can still participate in a raffle, but there is much more transparency, actual proof of the charity doing good, and far better communication. Also, the drawings are way less sketchy.
anyone have a list of the winners from the last drawing? I never received an email and reached out with no response.

Same here. I did this raffle for the first time without reading all of these negative comments. I won't be doing it again. It just doesn't seem on the up and up.

I completely agree. Between that, and the fact that their is no information on their website about the drawing, and their lack of communication I don't see myself doing this again.

If you would like pm me your email and I will forward my copy of the email to you.
Here is a positive post!!

Just waiting on Cointaker to get some premiums and then I should be getting my June prize not long after.
Received my trans from the April drawing. It was an error on Stern's part as it ships directly from them. Thanks for clearing everything up Joe!
