Just a quick question for anyone that has one of these.

    ebay.com link: 0

I find these very difficult to lower the game because I have to use one hand to push down the lift bar and my other hand to push the shorter bar to unlock it. It’s very awkward. Can someone that has this style tell me if I’m using it wrong?

You're supposed to use your feet. The top handle you basically have to stand on to get the game off the ground and all the way up until it locks. Then press on the bottom release with your foot to unlock.

I honestly had no idea. Mine had no how to use instructions, only how to assemble it. I’ll have to try this, thanks.

    I feel your pain.

Thought I was the only one with this problem. JJP games are the hardest to get up and down imo.

Wow do I feel stupid. Still not crazy about how it lowers. It seems like I have to push both levers with my foot at the same time otherwise it’s hard to unlock it. But it’s sure a lot better than how I was doing it with my hands. I was ready to sell this thing.

It may just need to get broken in. I know mine you have to push deliberately on the release to get it to unlock, which I guess is a good thing.

I can't even imagine how you raised a game on the lift using your hands. Dayum!

I use a well broken in Mr Penguin model and it takes both feet on it to raise a game.

    philly,

I was thinking about getting one of these, would you still buy if you were going to do it again?

I have a Harbor Freight lift table in the garage, but at 90 lbs, I don't feel like dragging it around the house and was thinking of getting the ebay style for the basement.

Shiiittt... I can remember moving games around the basement by crawling up under them and lifting with my back.

That used to be my go-to method for leg height adjustments.

I _think_ I could probably still do it, but I'd have to call for help to get back _out_ from under the machine.

Honestly if had to do it over again I think I would get the Harbor Freight cart and modify the handle. I’m just not a big fan of this one because of how it lowers.

Yea, that’s how I level my games

I have a similar lift cart and I tried lifting a rfm with it the other day and I could not get it up in the air. I had to have my wife stand on the front bar with me to get it up. I never had a problem lifting a regular pin by standing on the bar. I weigh about 170. Did I just not have enough weight to lift the heavier than normal rfm? or is there another way?

RFM with the original CRT weighs about 10,000 lb.
When I replaced it with an LCD the game nearly floated in the air.
