-Has badly Photoshopped art with a photograph collage.

-Doesn’t have an 3+ multi ball.

-Has a wider flipper gap.

I’m sure tolerances change around budget and collection size, but how about you?

#3 5 years ago

Photographed with big screen tv’s and a bulldog?

#4 5 years ago

...isn't fun to play.

All other considerations are secondary, nigh irrelevant.

must have plastic ramps!

#6 5 years ago

If the theme is terrible and if it has a terrible rule set.

#7 5 years ago

Is not imamaculate!

#8 5 years ago

... does not have any interesting rules or variance in strategies.

I will not buy a pin that is on fire. I will however buy a pin that smells like cat piss.

#10 5 years ago

A pin that someone did shitty touch ups on or put holes in the playfield.

#11 5 years ago

I find myself passing on more deals as time goes on - I know how much work it can take to fix something "that just needs a fuse".

Also, if I've owned the title in the past, it's less interesting than something I've never owned before.

#12 5 years ago

... has an upper/lower playfield that the ball spends significant time on.

#13 5 years ago

Missing too many parts, unless it is a parts game. The missing backglass, missing playfield plastics, stuff that is hard to get.

#14 5 years ago

The deal breakers for me are:

Mold
Past or current insect infestation
Badly Water damaged (cabinet & playfield warping/falling apart)

#15 5 years ago

is childish (for myself)...

#16 5 years ago

mice have been inside or other like critters, water damage, re-imports unless extremely nice and/or cheap.

#17 5 years ago

... is New In Box
... has a theme I'm not in love with

#18 5 years ago

Comes from someone I can’t stand!!!

#19 5 years ago

isn't advertised without pinup models? I mean the game can suck, but the model makes them play better right?

#20 5 years ago

I think my only deal breaker is insect infestation. I can’t handle bugs.

Well.... I mean obvious answer here is over priced being a deal breaker lol but as far as problems with the game it has to be bugs for me

#21 5 years ago

I won't buy a pin that...
Doesn't have a ramp.
Doesn't have a multiball.

#22 5 years ago

I won’t buy one that has a camera

#23 5 years ago

I won't buy a pin that has multiple hacks.

#24 5 years ago
Quoted from whizz:

Those are my favorites to buy. Most hacks are pretty easy to repair and a jacked up game typically means a better price for me lol

#25 5 years ago

You are right.I like projects, but don't want to pay restored price.

Has anything to do with WWE/WWF

#27 5 years ago

I haven't played

#28 5 years ago

that has too many unobtainium parts

#29 5 years ago

I've made a decision recently that I'm over "old man themes". I will play them, but will not buy them. Batman66 is the last old man theme I will own. Passed on Ironmaiden, will pass on Munsters. Beatles not considered, but went for a TNA that was a good mashup of an older playfield design yet modern everything else.

I want my collection to show that pinball is current, not antiquated.

#30 5 years ago

- has animal shit and piss in it

- has mold in it

- the cabinet is destroyed and needs replaced.

- is not fit for tournaments.

#32 5 years ago

isnt bally / williams

#33 5 years ago

That won't stay for a while. I'm sick of hauling games up and down steps. If it's not something I'm genuinely interested in keeping for a good amount of time I pass these days. Too much work and time and not enough space.

#34 5 years ago

No more project pins for me. If it isn't either working or close to working or needs cabinet work, don't even try and sell it to me.

I also won't buy machines with a theme that I can't stand or one that has a player camera built in.

I also won't ever buy pinball 2000 machines. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Don't ever ask me to move one of these either.

#35 5 years ago

Honestly, playfields worn down to bare wood. I’m not talking about 1mm spot here or there, I’m talking dime size chunks of missing artwork in prime focal areas. I’ll take non booting Mpu’s all day, just make sure it’s pretty.

#36 5 years ago

I will not buy one with no box.
I will not buy one in my socks.

#37 5 years ago

That has Playfield wear (to bare wood).

#38 5 years ago

That costs $70,000.

Better grab that last one. The other two have sold!

#40 5 years ago

Says its home use only but picture has a bill acceptor on it.

The seller acts shady and he does not have the key.

Seller posts pictures of a different game.

Used game and costs almost as much money as a brand new one.

#1 Dealbreaker is if the seller is a Idiot!!!!

#41 5 years ago
Quoted from EalaDubhSidhe:

I will not buy one with no box.
I will not buy one in my socks.

I will not buy one damaged by rocks.
I will not buy one with no keys for its locks.

#42 5 years ago

I won’t buy or consider from a person who honestly thinks he can get four times what the machine is worth.

#43 5 years ago

..comes from lloyd at coinopwarehouse. He is a junk dealer at retail prices.

#44 5 years ago

Further than a 2 hour drive, ok make that 3 hours. Meahh 4 hours

#45 5 years ago

Was previously owned by Gryszzz haha.

Jk buddy. Love ya. Happy New Year.

#46 5 years ago

I will not buy a pin that has to be shipped. I've seen too many horror stories here about pins destroyed or badly damaged during shipping to take the chance.

Does not have Legs?

No keys for its locks or damaged by rocks. Would you buy one here or there? Would you buy one from a hare? I would not buy one, Sam I Am. I will not buy one, it's simply a scam!

#49 5 years ago

I will not buy one up a flight of stairs
I will not buy one down a flight of stairs
I will not buy one full of cat hairs

#50 5 years ago

Interesting that some people are answering in terms of title and others are responding in terms of condition.

I’d also add terrible voice acting to the list.
