I did call my insurance company early on when I started buying pins, and I was already over insured, and they said I am covered, but if I keep buying I may need to update later.
Fire has always concerned me. Just old batteries laying around burned a house down up the street from me.

A few weeks ago I smelled something weird, turned out a power strip had went bad.
Unless you just want to buy all new/replacement games out of your own pocket, I advise coming up with a # that they are worth, and talking to your insurance company.
(and yeah, for fun after a few beers, sometimes I write down what I could sell everything I own for if I ever wanted to sell fast, and then I take that paper and light the grill with it).
