If I were to hollow out a pinball steel coil plunger to about 1/2 the mass, would these 2 points be correct
1) The coil should have more snap “ pulling power “ at the same voltage because of less overall mass
2) The grip from the coil to the plunger should remain the same strength as the electromagnetic field has not changed
So could strength at pull stay the same but initially snap off the pull should be quicker as the mass is reduced
