I wonder if this project could be moved to a real manufacturer. It kind of feels like a Spooky project, and we know they can deliver.
Quoted from Pinballlew:This project just got abandoned?
That would be quite a punch in the nuts. I hope the people involved are ok.
Did the group get disbanded or something? Or are they working on other things? I can't seem to find any recent activity on Paul or James in the pinball world.
It looks like James is back in the parts business;

I thought he sold Pinball Inc? Or was that just the ramp portion of the business that he sold off?
I believe he just sold the ramp part, I think James kept the name. I don't think eBay would lets you sell or give your ID away. But I could be wrong.

Sold Ramps... went quiet after the whole IPB thing finally blew up and I suppose all the lawsuits closed up after the bankruptcy. But in recent months he relaunched Pinball Inc (he's on facebook) but wasn't very clear on what he is scoping.
Everyone seems to say Starship hasn't done much with the ramps but sell inventory...
Pinball Inc has a nice web store. Wishing James the best! Has always developed quality products.

Quoted from Bud:Like many others, I'd love to see this pin made in mass production
And just sit unsold after the first 30 or 40 sell?
Quoted from MrBally:And just sit unsold after the first 30 or 40 sell?
There is more interest then that.
Me too!
Quoted from MrBally:How much more?
I don't know who all would be interested, I guess you'd have to do a market analysis. I would imagine if only a hundred or two were built they wouldn't sit around unsold. Look at that stupid super LE idea, every one of those sold, both times they pushed a limited number and on a pin layout that was already used in a previous batman pin. This is something completely different.
If it came down to a fact that somebody could produce X number of these with a prepaid, I would do it. Now there would have to be some checks and balances before I'd sign on to it, but let's say they required a few hundred dollar place holder, non refundable. Once all the slots were spoken for then they could go into production at which point the balance would be do after the first few were built and delivered.
Quoted from MrBally:How much more?
It's only my opinion, I could be wrong. The game is fun and unique and that is from only playing the game at PHOF. With the info on the changes that were being included, I would think they would sale quite a few copies more then 50.
It is fun and unique and the Earth would be a cooler planet for each additional one of these in existence.
Having said that, I can't promise I'd be buying one, though.
Bummer this project stalled out

I was interested a few years ago when I played their proto at expo but I kinda don't care any more. Still be cool to see it finished, but like you - no promises. No pre-order, that's for sure.
Yep these would sell. From the last videos we saw it was coming along nicely. Seeing them make the elephant and giraffe shots was fantastic.
I would love to add one of these to my collection; I love vintage circus "stuff" and pinball, so it seems like this game would be a nice combo of two things I really like!
i've been in since day 1. Told python I was in and excited for it's arrival. Hopefully this will see fruition.
I'm sure I can make room for one if they were to ever be made.
Looks like tons of fun and something a little different.
Love it!
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Hopefully this will see fruition.
Radio silence from the guys doing it isn't a good sign.
I hope they at least make the 12 prototypes before calling it a day. That would ensure it would at least pop up at expos from time to time.
I was previously on the team and I honestly have no idea where the project is right now. I'm going to have to wait it out like y'all. Having been friends with Python, I'd love to see his dreams realized.

when did you get off the team? What is the last status update on this?
My involvement stopped about two years ago right after SFGE. I had done some cabinet wiring and I painted the clown's face by hand. We would have done it with stencils for production, but the prototype needed paint. I really can't comment beyond that because I really haven't had any interaction with the remaining people on the team. More stuff happened after I left but I just heard about it like everyone else on Pinball News and other sources. I wish them well in completing this awesome project.
Here's a picture of Python and me near his house in MI (I really miss him):

Great picture. Thank you for sharing.

I think someone on the team got pissed off at Pinside so I don't think radio silence on Pinside means anything as far as the project is concerned.

Hasn't been much on the two Facebook pages or their website either.
They have a lot into the project. I hope it moves forward.

understandable.
I am gonna get the black flag for saying this but I would even put a deposit in on this if it helped guarantee I get one.
