Negative.

It's a mildly interesting novelty but that's about it.

#3 10 years ago

I'm in, only as long as they cost $15k+ and are limited.

I need my pinball-related status symbols to stay all status-y and whatnot.

#4 10 years ago

How could that game NOT cost $15-20k, holy crap is that thing elaborate....

#5 10 years ago

$20k would be better, but I think $30k is the sweet spot.

#6 10 years ago

I loved the game when I played it... So much character..

Pinball Circus remake...who's in?

Should be just about anybody who has always wanted a pin in their bathroom. No other game would fit.

#8 10 years ago

If the code was completed, it would be a fun game to own. As it sits I enjoy it, but there is too little to try to do.

I played it at the PHOF but it sure needed shopping. I managed to get to the top level, kind of neat The offset flippers caught me sleeping a time or two.

#10 10 years ago

I'll pass.

Only if I'm not allowed to put any demands on the quality of the build or be allowed to have an opinion on the extras.

#11 10 years ago

I've never played it, but it does look like I'd really like it, just looks so unique. What kind of rule set does it have, is it deep enough for a long term home stay?

#12 10 years ago

I think it is very cool and unique. I would be quite interested in a remake!

#13 10 years ago

Depending on price I'd be interested.

Agreed and I am expecting that it will be $10k plus so I would really have to have some extensive game time to see if I would like it enough. I would like to have something similar to it though and mix up the collection.

whitewood LE?

The game is an interesting novelty as a unique prototype, but otherwise it's very linear in nature and would probably get boring quickly. Besides, there's virtually no chance it would ever be made. It was too expensive to produce then, and there isn't a fraction of the market that would buy it now.

#17 10 years ago

I'll keep my money. I also played Pinball Circus at PHOF and thought it was an interesting design, but as an actual game I came away wanting more out of it. It was definitely unique but that's about as much credit as I can give it.

#18 10 years ago

I'd buy it at 8k, although I doubt it could be made for that little. I played it at PHOF and loved it. Very unique...

#19 10 years ago

I'd be in for one.

#20 10 years ago

Nah. Cool design for novelty effect, but boring in the long run. Linear, simple progression.

#21 10 years ago

If there was a 'Depends on the price' option in the poll, that's what I would vote for.

I'll buy three or four plays on one for a buck apiece.

#23 10 years ago

Depends on the price, I never played one. The sound, layout, call outs, and toys seemed cool though.

#24 10 years ago

I equate it to Champion Pub. It's fun for a few games until the novelty wears off.

#25 10 years ago

Great pinball , played it at phof and had a blast ,would love a remake and own one .

I ya, and Champion Pub is one of my favorite novelty pins

#27 10 years ago

This game is like taking an expensive Ferrari doing some donuts, running it wide open around a road course and then crashing into a brick wall. It is dazzling to look at, a rush and fun at first, but that comes to an end really fast.

This.

Get python to finish it up and I'm in for this game.

Yes, but it would be crazy expensive.

#31 10 years ago

Cool game, maybe a release of only 100-200 would work...

#32 10 years ago

Yes, as long as they keep the price down

#33 10 years ago

Very much out! I've already played it once. That was enough.

#34 10 years ago

I would much rather own a Champion Pub. A game or two every few years in Vegas is plenty.

#35 10 years ago

If it get's made, Python has indicated it will be much more than the current Pinball Circus that exists. It will be his full vision for the game. Much deeper than the current version too.

You should hear some of the features that were originally planned for it that didn't make it into the prototypes.

#36 10 years ago

At one time I had play field and parts to this game. With all the new stuff coming out and LCD screens, I think I would pass on this game unless it was 10k or less and low in production numbers

#37 10 years ago

I have never even seen this game... Can someone post some pics?

#38 10 years ago

Pass pass and pass. As others have said its a great game to play a few times and that's it.

Why are all of the videos of this seem to be shot with an old VHS camcorder?
EDIT: That's actually not a bad video, easily the best quality I have seen.

These are the images I used to make my PBC tribute animation Movie!

There's nothing out there like Pinball Circus! WHEN it gets made (I'm an optimist and a dreamer maybe, but I have faith in Python!) I will consider buying one for location. I think kids would go crazy for it!

#45 10 years ago

This page was your doing? Your my Hero I love this page its awesome. I couldn't believe it had the PBC too boot.

I put this in my favorites years ago. Thanks for making it.

I so badly want to shop that thing and make it work the way it should...

Same here!!!!!!

#49 10 years ago

Purely a novelty due to it's extreme rarity.... pass.

Re: Champion Pub - I really like that game. Sure, it's got some novelty factor, but it's also a pretty good challenging game (to me at least). It's definitely not a 1-trick pony like Circus is...

I'd assume that when you own 65 machines "novelty" can become a good thing.

PS: Although, I like Champion Pub too. I think it's one of my favorite machines to play with friends.
