I dont remember which podcast it was (was it yours jeffparsons). But recently on a podcast, there was a talk about ideas for a chair attachment to pinball machines. A crazy fantasy that brought a laugh.

Well. It did happen. In the 1990s these were seen here and there in arcades in Denmark. I suspect they were build by the Danish distributor and offered as an add-on for game purchases. Useless, of course. Something that might work on paper. But on as much in real life. And they dissapeared again.

If someone big and heavy enough leans back far enough they’re going to end up laying on their back with a pinball machine on their belly!

If anything a good way to prevent people walking up behind you. But yeah I can also see this becoming a lever in the wrong ways.

I've seen these on pins in truck stops here in California.

Very surprised to hear that. Is is someone building from the same idea. Or is there a connection. I have never seen them anywhere else. Or ever since 1996-2000.

I personally hate them, but they are around on location, at least in California.

This one requires you to really shimmy to get that slide save in.

Cape Girardeau, MO airport truck stop had those on both of their pins in the late '90s. I guess truckers don't sit enough already.
