As we are aware recession has been here, but soon US's GDP should make it official. With that, forecast for housing prices next year is on a downward trend.
Many economic moves will continue to happen the next years to come.

This leads to the pinball world: Do you think pinball machine prices will take a breather like the housing prices?

I've have only been in the pinball purchase world the past 5-6 years and would like input for those who have been through decades.

Question: Will pinball prices decline? If so, how long will it take?

    Quoted from nicoy3k:

Burst no, go down? The already have. A nice AFM sold for 7800 and if you want to sell an in production stern you need to go under msrp

Funny you brought that one up. I was interested in AFM Remake LE around 2018 or so (pre-pandemic) and I recall you can get them for about $8,000 range.

Now, a new ad popped up for $16,000!! Most sold in the $14,000 range. I love that game, but I am priced out.

I am aware I can go the classic route, but the remake has caught my attention.

If the steam can cool off in the future I can reconsider the purchase. Hence, asking my question.

    Quoted from pinzrfun:

Where on earth did you get that figure -
NY TIMES predicts a 5% drop by the middle of 2023, but The Mortgage Bankers Association and Fannie Mae forecast U.S. home price growth of 3.1% and 3.2%, respectively next year.
As a local real estate investor, inventory in my target area is normally around 65 houses daily, and has barely moved over 20 in at least 4 years. There's still way more demand than inventory.
I do think there will be a correction, but 20%? No.

Whoops… yeah got my figure totally wrong. Wrote the wrong one. I’ll make it generic to prevent this from being a problem.
