Poll : I'm wondering what you'd like to modify on your Whitestar game if Pinball Browser was able to do it.

    #2 3 years ago

Changing the song on Nascar would be so sweet.

    #3 3 years ago

Would that also work on sega pins using whitestar or no? I'd assume you'd have to burn a new rom

    What else uses Whitestar?

    #5 3 years ago

Tons of games are Whitestar, anything before WPT... Many big ones. LOTR, TSPP, many many more.

But they're all Sega. He said 'also work', meaning.. is there another manufacturer out there using Whitestar?

    #8 3 years ago

I'm clearly the only one, but from a sounds perspective, I feel like stern got the callouts right on these games.

I don't see any mention of current production value.

And these are not all Sega machines. It starts in Sega and runs through World Poker Tour...

I would love to add callouts from Lisa, Marge, Ned, the Reverend and others to TSPP.

    And why not:

I've never used pinball browser before so I'm not sure what could be changed, but I think the only thing I'd consider changing in RBION is the scoring font so it's a little less generic. I'm pretty happy with all the animations in it! And if there's a way to improve the sound quality itself I would... but that's it.

Oh, and make the spinner sound less annoying.

    #13 3 years ago

I think I'd likely try to find a way to put a lot more Matt LeBlanc in my Lost In Space. Although- where would I download the stock standard ROM so that I could even look at it in pinball browser?

    IPDB has them..

While neat, this will probably see a lot less use as opposed to the sam version. Most folks do not have rom burners and that is going to hold many back.

    I picked OTHER.

I'd like to get score data and ability to modify adjustments from the whitestar systems (TSPP and LoTR).

Another question.... even though there is a poll, just curious how much $$$ would it be just to fund the entire development of this request?

Couldn't seem to find the big pinball browser thread so sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but can pinball browser be used to edit whitestar games now?

It can if you can burn eproms. You need to work with oga83 direct as most sounds are not available.

Awesome thanks for the response. I know someone who can burn eproms so that's a good start, most of the editing to a whitestar game I want to do is actually replacing the factory music and sounds, so would that require factory sounds also if as you say they are not available?

I'm in to change the song in nascar.

Yeah I want to know if I can change some of the music out and add extra sound clips on an AP, as I am looking at getting one.

Terminator 3 by far....I'd make it "The Terminator".... the original artwork is meh to bad, but there are multiple ways to score pts and get out of a hole in competition...really good flow to the game, one of my favorite games hands-down. Without redoing all the playfield and cabinet artwork, I'd do some basic changes, be fully satisfied, and would be completely bad-as#:

    1. Change the backglass to Terminator 1...
    2. Left loops advancing to Assault goes to Police station Assault w/looping music from Terminator 1 assault on the station. change all weapon sound effects to movie sound effects and weapons call-outs.
    3. RPG goes to throwing sticks of C4 w/ music tunnel/bike chase scene
    4. The regular multiball is Club Noir and one of the movie chase tracks..
    5. Not sure on Final battle, probably just main title song or end credit song.
