Mojojedi "My notice was by email two days ago, but I got on right after Cointaker added the $1 list to their site."

When did you get on the list? I did in Feb. No invoice yet.

A question on delivery of SV. Who delivers? Will they bring it inside? Is downstairs to basement an option for extra cost?

Thanks

Anyone have to remove back box yet? How is it? Is it even possible? I didn't see anything in online documentation but I might have missed it.
We will have to hand carry to my basement around 90 degree landing that doesn't have room for hand truck on it. If I can get it lighter I may remove.
Thanks

I paid deposit in Jan. In May I was told itd be a few weeks. Invoice for SV sent and paid about 2 weeks ago and was also told it would arrive to CT 8/1. No shipping notification yet...

Hi All, I received my SV 2 weeks ago. Here are some details of that experience. I placed deposit in Jan. In March CT said it would be about 30 days. In May I was told itd be shipped in a few weeks. In July I was told it was on the way on ship and was sent an invoice. I didnt like the idea of paying before they actually had it, as I was already given inaccurate shipping estimates so I initially didnt pay and was going to wait until they had it. Seems scammy. Then I thought, "What if they ship them to those who paid first and dont go by deposit list?", so I paid about 2 weeks later. Ive read similar posts and its seems a lot are frustrated w/ CTs communication. The model should be simple, you have a deposit list, once you receive pin, send out invoice. Im not sure what theyre looking at.

Fed ex brought from driveway to front of house. My help couldnt be there so I tipped driver 50$ and he helped me hand truck it up 6 steps and inside. No damage to box.

I have narrow basement stairs w/ 90 degree landing that was too small for pin. I built a bigger landing and was able to hand truck it down. Once on landing(w/ only 1in of space available) tilt forward, slide out hand truck, rotate it on moving blanket, put front legs on and lower it. Then Harbor freight table lift did the rest. As this is my only pin, I did the simple HF mod and just put the handle underneath and steered w/ pin.

I had to remove backbox before moving. Its easy, just remove glass, lower it, label/disconnect about 8 cables and unscrew 1 screw from each side.

After checking connections, I updated to 2.7 and fired it up. Its incredible. I do love it but its having issues w/ the ball not launching all the way up the ramp sometimes. Maybe 4-5 times in a row then itll be fine. It has failed kickout attempts and sometimes kickouts 2 or 3 balls. Probably 3x it has ended up trying/failing to launch 2 or 3 balls at a time and I have to turn off and remove glass each time. I opened ticket and their solution was to increase auto launch which I tried. This didnt help. Does this seem like software or hardware issue?
2nd solution was to adjust wire ramp entry angle. I never got that far. Yesterday the wire ramp broke in 2 places. Just sent PB follow up email to ticket. I believe some others have seen this.

While playing my screen went white. PB had me change HDMI cable and rebuild. These didn't help. They sent me a new itx board and it's now good to go. The rebuild put me at 3.0. No other issues except the wire ramp broke again. PB is sending another replacement. This one separated at two points. The first did in three. PB recommended not installing too tight as it needs some give. I'll have to see if I can get the two broken ramps welded at some point.
If you're seeing more launch fails check to see if a wire in the ramp disconnected first. This would have saved me some time trouble shooting if I looked instead of messing with the power.

Quoted from Drebay:

I am having an intermittent issue with the plunger solenoid. Most of the time it sends the ball into play easily, then at times it can barely get the ball half-way up the ramp and I need to shut off the game for it constantly repeats the weak plunge. I tried swapping the coil with another and the problem still exists. I check continuity all the way back to the board and everything seems tight and a solid connection. It will also suddenly just start working strong again without any intervention. Is this something anyone else has seen? Thought I would ask here before I sent in a ticket with PB.

See if any wires disconnected in the wire ramp.
This has happened to me 3x now. The first symptom is also balls launching half way up intermittently.

a.Nostromo plate from etsy was 30$. I just go the apron mod and they put the plate on that so I dont need it.
b.Launch ramp w/ 2 broken points. Ive had 4 break on me so I have plenty. You could fix and have as a backup. Ive fixed one w/ jb weld as I read here it works but havent tried it yet.
c.Extra toys from ebay lot and an 90 degree mini usb cable and female/female usb adapters you may need for apron mod.

Send me a message, thanks
