Did anyone make a Xenomorph flasher mod like the one Per_ did for the Heighway version? Not the Pinstadiums/apron flasher, but a flasher that isolates on the Xeno as he grabs the ball.

Quoted from brado426:We just made the changes needed for this. It just needs to be tested now. New release coming very soon....

Video?
Quoted from brado426:It's hard to take a video that does justice, but this should give you an idea. In the video, there is a bug where the beacons flash too many times after the Xeno hit. We just fixed that issue. I think I may like this Xeno-Only strobe mode better than the strobe all throughout Ambush... but the strobe throughout Ambush is pretty exciting too... so it's a tough call. Fortunately, it can easily be switched to your liking.
Another change we made... if you set the strobe speed to 0, it will now just display the solid strobe color instead of flashing that color. This is also a great option if the strobe is just too much for your brain.
Impressive light show, but not at all what I’m looking for.
I’m looking for something like this, but preferably continue the strobing until the ball is eaten.
Quoted from Zablon:Is that from MK's apron mod?
The mod already does that based on how you have it set up, it just doesn't always start right at that point, sometimes it is delayed. The bigger issue is that the game itself doesn't always turn off the lighting. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, so it's less impactful.
This is sort of what I am getting at. I don't remember where exactly what I"m thinking happened, but this is close. Rather than a solid going strobe, more of a flash of emergency....then full on strobing when the balls are out.

No it is from the Heighway Alien thread. Does the apron mod have a dedicated flasher for the xenomorph? If not then it is unlikely to achieve the same effect.
I tried to use Alien in our Pin-golf tournament. Good turnout so the machine was getting a ton of play.
Unfortunately I had to pull it after a couple hours or so because the right upper flipper was overheating and too weak to make the side ramp which was the objective on the machine.
Other than adding a Flipper coil fan has there been any documentation of a more proper solution to this issue?

Does no one have any insight on the flipper overheating issue?
Quoted from conester:Nothing to really do except put a fan on the flipper coil if playing that long. Alien is not the only machine that has this happen with king game play. I haven’t noticed it yet since I don’t play for multiple hours at a time.
Maybe so but it was the only game that I had to pull due to poor flipper performance.
