Ah, nice coincidence as I was looking into getting this game and was also apprehensive due to the black screen and attract mode freeze issues, but after a conversation with the always friendly @chipscott, plus the replies to your post and watching some youtube vids, I feel pretty confident that most/all issues have a known and easy fix. So I ordered an LV from Cointaker a few hours ago. Psyched! This game always looked special, and I love supporting the small(er) manufacturers.

I was just looking around too. I see a site selling clear ones (https://www.playfield-protectors.net/products/alien-limited-edition-2021-pinball-brothers-plastic-protectors), but I could've sworn I saw green in someone's video.

Just got my LV today. 515lbs on the pallet! Whoa mama. That sets a new record. Didn't think anything was gonna top Lebowski's 450. A very beefy boy.

Just played a couple games. Um....

WOW. Holy shit wow. This feels like the JJP widebodies in terms of jaw drop, just so much going on in all that space. Best first impression since PotC in terms of marveling at the spectacle. Super early yet and I need to dial it in, but I am liking how it shoots. Ramps are smooth including that wireform flip-up one that is usually clunky on other games. My right flipper feels a bit sluggish, might up the power a touch and see if that helps. And I'll read the thread for dialing in tips. Is there a protective peel-off coating on the side walls or not? Can't quite tell and I don't want to go scratching at things.

But anyway, sheez. This is a lot of game for the money. Really happy right now.

Well, that's weird. 515 does sound awfully high, but 350 with pallet sounds low. Shrug.
