Check the microswitch blade. Make sure the spinner wire is only pushing it and not scraping it when it spins - that adds friction. Bend the blade just slightly and carefully to loosen the motion if it is.

The conversion to standard-body took place mostly between the Heighway shutdown and the PB startup, retaining Barry Oursler's flow but remapping the shots and simplifying the build. That was myself on 2D CAD, James Rees building up in Solidworks, and Roger Svanevik managing us. When PB was finally ready to start again - simplifying the Alien build for ease of manufacture was a major task - the playfield was turned over to them for finishing touches, final tweaks and some mech revision when it was about 85 percent complete. Inserts had to be re-evaluated too based on rules and licensor insistence.
