Rats. I thought I was pretty early too. Was it email or a phone call cuz I think I ignored like 4 calls today that I assumed were all regarding my car's extended warranty.

#3202 70 days ago

My notice was by email two days ago, but I got on right after Cointaker added the $1 list to their site.

Mojojedi "My notice was by email two days ago, but I got on right after Cointaker added the $1 list to their site."

When did you get on the list? I did in Feb. No invoice yet.

#3205 69 days ago

I got my notice from Cointaker yesterday.

#3206 69 days ago

So is it just me or is the scoring way higher on Aliens? I'm lucky to break 30m on Alien, but I'm consistently over 100m-300m on Aliens..

#3207 69 days ago

Replaced the launch button today. Sorry but that yellow thing was just fugly.

Alien scenes tend to be more “pensive”… make a couple well chosen shots and you can win a mode with decent points.

Aliens scenes tend to be more “shoot first, ask questions later”: more stuff lit but less points per shot. More shots required to win.

Gooch When did you get on the list?

There's a number of rubbers that should be kept on hand. I'm already seeing them getting torn up.

the one i mention... does the rubber chart state it is a rubber sleeve here? you have number listing of ones failing on your pin?

I haven't went through it yet. Someone posted the rubber sheet a few pages back. Mine has the same rubber there, not a sleeve.

ok.. i think it was called out as #19 a sleeve, which it is not. I think i am going to order one and cut it to fit with rubber. I can just imagine how mangled this rubber will be after a few good direct hits.

I didn’t have to change it until 700+ games however…

#3219 69 days ago

Vlad_nada I got on Cointaker's list on Jan 9th.

Quoted from Mageek:

On POTC there's a similar spot with a rubber ring exposed to direct hits on a post. Someone came up with the idea to use a rubber sleeve cut down so it sits below the ring on the post. That way the ball doesn't make contact with the rubber ring anymore and the ring won't have to be changed out as often. Seems like the same thing could work in this spot.

No, I seem to equally suck at the 30 mil range on both.

I put my deposit down Jan 1 and paid the full balance a couple days ago. Excited to finally have this in my basement! How long does it take once the container hits the water? Guessing a month or so?

Gives you time to order those metal leg protectors and felt protectors and throw out the plastic ones it comes with. Order the plastic protectors also, I had one break in the first week of play. Quality balls are not a bad thing to add, these are a little sketchy.

Haha, oh you...

You are looking at probably 2 months before you see your game and that is...early. Still lots of shipping issues.

Cool with me! It’ll get here when it gets here, I was just curious. If it makes it to me in 2021 I’ll consider that a win haha.

At some point is there a tracking number?

Quoted from c818919taylor:

i think only after fed ex contacts you for delivery, then you get one, but you also get the exact delivery date then too.

Not until fedex picks it up from CT and they reach out to you to schedule.

Speaking of the rubber right next to the Xeno target... yours looks like it is hanging on by a thread.

Also...all his small targets are green??

Quoted from Zablon:

Also...all his small targets are green??

If I had to guess this is the machine that HurryUpPinball sold, I remember seeing that he had replaced all of the small stand up targets with ones from B/W.

In other news I just got a reply from Cato that he has sent a care package with ALL new Stand up targets, new flipper bats, new post for the right flipper and a scoop protector. I'm really hoping these are the new Gen 3 targets as I already have the Gen 2 ones! I will let you guys know as soon as I receive them

In addition to shipping delays and whatnot I've been thinking of cargo ships crossing the Atlantic as these hurricanes are moving north in the central Atlantic.

That cannot be helping shipping either right now.

Literal and figurative perfect "storm" happening with shipping and freight across the board! I heard yesterday USPS raising prices on mail/freight and slowing deliveries also until after Christmas time. Lovely huh?

Great times we are all living in right now!
