One thing about the translite is that as he mentioned it is like Space Invaders, or Xenon. So I understand 'how' it was done. The question would be how to get the image on the (I assume plexiglass?). But my overall point is, you could really put any image on there you wanted to if you did it yourself. The idea itself is pretty cool and honestly, I can't believe no one has done this before (on their own).

Making me wonder about doing something similar for Funhouse 2.0.....

For sure go for it. It started with Stranger things for me and I have also done some versions for Creature, T2, Tom and others but am not interetsed in selling them or doing more. for the Bally Williams titles.

For Funhouse I had the 3d one from Pinball Dreams which was excellent. Along with AFM, Bop they are perfect imo. MM and Wh20 didnt look good in the 3d version imo.

I don’t think that’s correct. We tried to make every shot in the game be important. All the shots you mentioned are used in various modes and multiballs — preferably in ways that make sense thematically. Additionally, those shots are valuable for:

Orbits: Feed the L-V lanes (bonus X, potential extra ball), feed pops (destroy eggs), feed upper flipper for ramp and Vent 3 shots.

Upper ramp: lock balls for Hypersleep MB, spot letters toward Drop Ship, lights left outlane Revive.

Vent 2 (right side mini loop): advances towards Mother Mystery.

Unique flow shots also award combos, which can be quite valuable in their own right.

Really been enjoying this pin since getting her all dialed in.... I am getting better at play but still cannot top my 324MM GC score, but hey that is the fun of it right, trying? I know that not everyone mods thier pins, but I do and i wanted to share my progress so far.

Black Mirror blades... i used the ones for Stern Machines as Cato stated they were the closest in fit.

Curious.. to make the hugger jump.. you dilled through the cap and connected the hugger to the pop mechanism? Might have to "swoop" this one!!!

No, it just sits on top and the tail tucks into that back dip, and so when the pop goes, it causes the facehugger to move around a bit. I have considered doing like what you say, but honestly been too lazy to bother.

Great idea! Add a spring like sparky's head from Metallica?.. Might get some pretty decent shakes with that. Maybe hot glue or JB weld if you don't want to screw into it.

One thing I noticed is my factory eggs don't really have any black wash on them, and the open one does, so they don't exactly match. Looking at others that have posted, theirs do have the black wash.

Hi all. I did a massive day yesterday and got my translite, apron, door mods printed and will be posting ( shipping) off today to all of you who have contacted me by email and confirmed. I have had alot of mixed messages like...yeah I want one, maybe get back to me etc. Classic pinballers!

I am only following up on people who have emailed me, confirmed what they wanted and provided full addreess and phone number details.

Too be honest with the work, upfront costs and time involved I wont be doing these indefinately. Maybe another 1 or 2 small batches and then I will be on to my new projects...

Thanks! I made the base from scratch based on some pics. The grate is printed in 3 sections, the base in 2 + the little add on tanks and such with vinyl lettering cutout using a Cameo. The Xeno is from Thingaverse printed in pieces at 145%.

Does anyone have any contact info for PB? Still no word on delivery and I'd like to do some further research as I'm not getting much info.

Ever since I heard mine “may” be on a boat- I’ve noticed I need to buy a new Alien mod always weekly to fight the craving. Def never ever owned this many mods before owning a pin before. My hope is I get the game before the total $ in mods purchased equals the $ paid for the game.

same here.. i still have some i have not installed. I have a set of art blades from France and plastic protectors sitting right now. I am going to do plastic protecotrs this weekend, but i went with black mirror blades so i dont have a use for the art ones.. LOL.. F it. you only live once.

Ok I got 5 more sets fabricated and printed of my mods. Translite panels, Apron panel, Coin door panel

I'm not doing anymore till I get some feedback from people to make sure everyone is happy when they receive them in 2-3weeks. It's quite a mission to coordinate it all.

So once these last 5 are gone, if anyone contacts me I'll just ask to wait for a few weeks to see the feedback.
I am not running a wait list.

Really busy with my Jaws project which is 99% done now.

Currently working on a custom back-lit backboard and it is looking great! Pics soon.

pinball decals . com had them.. 249. or so.

i added a small led strip to backboard of playfield.. actually over that area. set it to deep blue color and dimmed it down.. Knowing what i do now about them, you shoudl get some diffuser channel to deaden the glare of individual leds on playfield. May work better.. that is next on my list.
