for all that matters keep the back box put all the guts in it and make the lower cabinet thinner easier to move around and transport....why is all that wood necessary to hold up the playfield....back in the 70's it was necessary but not now.

true but I imagine at some point the design will move into the modern era like everything else .....pinball machines in the current state are a pain in the ass to work on .....would be nice if you could just be able to flip the playfield without having to get out the lift and block off half the room when something breaks and something always breaks
