    Quoted from DennisDodel:

'Here's A Game That Will Make You Flip Every Time You Play' By Carl Hoffman
(The title in the table of contents is 'Pinball-Full Tilt Once More')
    Smithsonian
    January 1993

I found this article via InfoTrac at the library many, many years ago. Of course, I had to go find the actual issue. What, you expected all this print to be available ONLINE? Seriously, though. I used to check out this issue just to read this article, over and over. Somewhere there's a dog-eared library copy of this, and Bill Kurtz's book "Slot Machines and Coin-Op Games." These are the things that are to blame for my coin-op obsession. Thanks for posting these!

Does anyone remember an article regarding Dirty Harry pinball in GameRoom or pingame journal? It came out during the early 90’s and I have been trying to find it.

The Pinball: 'Man vs. Destiny' By Philip Benjamin

    The New York Times Magazine
    November 5, 1961
    Page 74

A nice, well balanced article from an era when pinball was not getting much love from the press.

And a nice surprise when I turned to the last page of the article. A photo of the one-of-a-kind pin from the movie 'The Time Of Your Life', a game that I once owned and is now residing in the Pacific Pinball Museum along with a treasure trove of related memorabilia associated with the movie including original scripts and many different movie posters.
I'm still waiting anxiously for the promised display of the artifacts at the PPM.

Good article. Has a few factual errors but many pinball articles do.

This is from the December 1972 issue of Playboy. I'm sorry for the crappy phone pictures. Those old Playboys were about an inch thick, and it just wouldn't lay flat. I think it's all legible, though. You may need to click the image to see it clearly.
