Quoted from AlexSMendes:

How come my MM on Steam have totally misaligned flipper bats???

The new physics messed the right flipper up. Actually, they are not misaligned; the right flipper is slanted upwards towards the top. Look more closely.

It's been affected on other tables as well, and I have reported them.

Sorry but I'm a little too slow here..... what's the difference between "two flippers misaligned" and "one flipper slanted upwards towards the top"?

To me it looks as if they have copied the right flipper "object", rotated it and mounted it to the left side without mirroring it horizontally.

Quoted from someoneelse:

Maybe they want to give you the authentic "on route" feeling and you need to buy the pro-version to be able to adjust them?

If you notice some of the playfields, wear is visible. Particularly noticable is insert wear on Flight 2000 and AFM's SOL hole. It looks like the wear was never fixed when the playfields were scanned and digitized.

I remember of a previous version of SS with a Credit Dot.

Yeah, but I think that's kinda cute. Can't remember which pin it was but once my wife was playing pinball arcade und suddenly said "why is this pin in the simulation in far worse condition than the real version of the same machine we have in the gameroom?"

The flipper placement has been the same throughout the years since it was released, and I do agree that the placement is incorrect. Will update on my Master List.

You may not see it clearly, but the right flipper is actually raised up, starting from the W logo and going towards the tip. Look closely on the right inlane and how the flipper is positioned, making the tip raised from the playfield compared to the base.

A more noticeable take on this is, for example, on NGG:

i see what you're saying -- it's aligned properly from the top down perspective, but the bat is actually lifting up into the air. heh.

Here's my Master List of Issues within the PC version, just in case anyone is curious:

http://pinballarcadefans.com/showthread.php/10511-Master-List-of-Issues-Within-the-PC-Version

If I missed anything or you would like for me to add something for this platform, please let me know. I'd like to see this game polished up, and to see this many issues within the game (mostly art) and still unfixed just bewilders me. Believe me, some DX11 tables have lights that are activating in 2 places at once, and some are even dimmed.

Maybe the flipper bushing was broken on the sample machine they used...

Hello, I have Pinball Arcade meself and I love it. I find it allot better than going out to find the games. Most of the games in there I never even herd of before. There's not much in the way of pinball around here so being able to play a pinball gave whenever I want is fun.

I'm not one who notices all the tiny details and stuff. I just play to have fun and kill time. Main reason I love it is I don't have to pay per play. just a 1 time fee to buy it. I don't have the money or space to ever own a real pinball machine. I don't care about the pro menus and stuff I just have fun with it. I have no idea how close it is to the real thing but it's never bothered me. it's the only way I can really play pinball.

One of the other thing I like about it is you don't have all the extra noise from all the motors and switches and stuff, only the sounds needed to be heard can be heard. Overall I think it's allot of fun and a great thing to have. Maybe it's not perfect but for a casual player like me it's as good as the real thing and I like the way the camera stays with the ball.

Thanks =}
