Quoted from Rarehero:

GB might be the one game that plays better on a video simulation ...lol. (Just guessing it doesn't have the airballs and outlane hops...I won't buy it to find out)

Does GB play right now? I have it on my I-Pad an the last time I played it the mode shots still weren't being lit up. I haven't seen an update so I haven't tried it since.

Anyone play both the Arcooda and Free camera mod versions? I watched the video on the Arcooda website and it doesn't look any better than the free camera mod unless I'm missing something. I was thinking about getting this for my cab until I watched the video. Those 4 camera angles they showed leave a lot to be desired

Quoted from wfumed2:

Interestingly enough, you can pay by credit card for the software alone but wire transfer only for the cabinet.

Another interesting thing. For the standard kit (you don't have the tables already) you pay now for the tables but they wont be shipping them till aprox the 30th which is the deadline? That just feels odd to me. I was seriously considering picking this up but just way to many red flags for me to spend $500 on.

Quoted from wfumed2:

Actually, according to the website, the new ship date for the $499 software package is July 31.

Even a bigger red flag. Buy product from new company that is software and don't get it till a month after you can legally buy it. Sorry, not preordering virtual pinball. I won't even preorder real pinball anymore

Kind of figured they would have released some new tables today to help offset the loss of all those tables. Call me crazy but I'm ready for some Wedge Heads.

"Some of the media and games used to create these Pinball Tables are freely available on the net and I consider my work as non-profit fanart. You are paying for the days of labor it cost me to download. "

This pisses me off. He wants money for the hours it cost him to download those tables. As an author of a dozen of those tables it took me on average 200 hours to CREATE them a piece. I posted them for free to the community so everyone could enjoy them and not to let some dick head download them and sell them. Not to mention selling a virtual machine with tables installed (outside of the Arcooda stuff) is illegal.

Message the seller as well as E-bay about this.

And people in the VP world wonder why a lot of the authors stopped building tables. This is reason #1.

Quoted from Paul_from_Gilroy:

27-inch display resting on a gaming laptop running Pinball FX3. Not shown are the USB joystick (with force feedback) and wireless keyboard/mouse. Make no mistake, it's a video game, not a pinball machine. But it's a very good video game

WOW, that looks great. May have to give this a try on my cab. Game play will decide on if I convert my cab to a MAME arcade or keep it a VP. I just can't get into VPx for some reason.

This looks pretty great.

Ah crap. That is VERY promising. I wonder how they will handle nudging. If they can incorporate a more realistic nudge ability (not all out like TPA) that would be great too.

Quoted from j_m_:

nudging on a pc using the keyboard sucks (unless I'm doing it wrong). it appears that you can only press the spacebar to nudge in an upwards direction.
pressing Y turns on/off the FX3 effects
pressing and holding C allows you to pause the action, zoom in and then use your mouse to navigate to a specific portion of the table. they really did put in a lot of effort to make most of the table look pretty darn authentic. some things still appear to be rather [flat], but most objects have a sense of being truly 3-dimensional

Sounded like they had or are going to have full cab support. As part of that I would assume they would incorporate the ability to add in something like the below:
