Quoted from Kineticross:I'm sorry to prove you wrong but literally their entire repertoire up to this point is unlicensed tables. So far the latest licensed machine they recreated was Terminator 2.
He is certainly correct where he says: "they are established enough to stand on their own feet. It's not ok to ask the fans to subsidize their income/risk any longer".
Go ahead and donate for the three of us, they won't see a penny from me.
Quoted from callmesteam:He's getting bashed for coming to a thread that is clearly stated in the subject line and trolling it. If you don't care, why click?
They have a half-dozen programmers. They're not Ubisoft. Things move slower. That said, I'm not big on Kickstarting stuff anymore, so I probably won't bite. I think it was TZ where you got 2 codes for $10, which is what I would have paid when it was released anyway, so I didn't mind throwing some cash in. If it's a similar deal here, I might bite.
I am sick of for profit COmpaNies using crowdfunding/kickstarter to fund stuff witout benefitting those that pay. I'm old fashioned, sell stock so those that choose can invest and sometimes even make a lot of money. Kind of like risk vs. reward.
Quoted from RobT:You must have missed the second post of this thread.
I was not trolling. I was simply asking a question. I really thought virtually no one on pinside cared about playing a virtual pin on an iPhone, tablet or video game console. Then the absurdity of an organization that has been selling games in this manner wanting to use a kickstarter form of funding really made me think it was an utter, complete joke.
