I get why people object to an established company running regular Kickstarters as part of their business model.
Having said that, I view it slightly differently. If the game they're promoting is actually Indiana Jones or The Addams Family, and the IP is expensive enough that a) they couldn't afford to produce the game without crowd funding or b) they view the investment as too risky to make without crowd funding, then I'm willing to contribute to the Kickstarter. In other words, I recognize that the market for this product is only so large and am willing to support it in novel ways if it means I get to play tables on my iPad that would otherwise be unavailable.
