    Ok so, this is happening!
I've never been to the States before, but next Monday I will be flying off to Sin City for 5 nights.
As an effort not to spend all day and night in the casinos I am also hoping to fill time with other stuff.
I'm hoping there are some great places to play Pinball? Does anyone have any recommendations I can check out while I am there?
While we are at it, anything else I should be trying to fit in while I am in Vegas?

    Thanks,
    B.

    Thanks guys.
I'll be sure to check some of these out.
Looking forward to checking out the Pinball and some of the other stuff you have all mentioned.

All good stuff guys. keep 'em coming.
The hookers and blow sounds good, but the missus is coming along too and she may not appreciate it quite as much. Ha.
8000 Calories!? Think I will be giving that a swerve. Unless I can eat it over the whole week! Jeez!
Anyone been to one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants there? Thought I might give one of them a go if it is any good at least. Think he has 3 kicking around, a Burger, Steak and a Pub Grill.
The Pinball at NYNY and a big sandwich downstairs is still winning though.

Staying at The LINQ which looks to be opposite Caesar's and one of Ramsey's' places.
30 bucks! Sheesh! You only live once I guess. Ha.

Well Mat, you are the local on the ground as it were so I will deffo check those out. I don't think I have ever had an alcoholic milkshake so that sounds like a must try! Nice one!
Does the Pinball place in NYNY have a bar, or is it like I hear that you can just wander from place to place carrying drinks without a problem?

Hehe. Thanks everyone. Sounds like there is the whole gamut of suggestions here.
Looks like it is forecast for 37 deg C next week, what's that in US money, about 100 deg F? Sheesh. Walking and lounging poolside in that will be tough for us Brits (we burn easy due to it raining here 365 days a year lol).
So far we are booked into the Gordon Ramsay's Steak restaurant for next Thursday. It's the missus' 30th Birthday that day so thought we'd throw the brick at it. Gonna get stung in there, but hey, I guess you have to try his Beef Wellington once in your life right!
The rest so far is fluid so I am very grateful for all your tips and suggestions. I am writing them all down (inc the ass paddling!)

Looks like it is off the strip behind Bally's Las Vegas & Paris Las Vegas.

The Birthday cake the missus got presented with at work today to tie in with the trip!

So is anyone else in Vegas next week up for beers and pinball?! Show us Limey's how you do it downtown?

Sorry to resurrect old thread, but just noticed a question from some 4 months ago! Ha.
On the pinball front we visited NYNY where I put some time in on Ghostbusters and The Walking Dead, both of which kicked my ass. But in a good way.
Didn't manage to get up to Freemont street to play the games up there unfortunately, but we have booked again for October so am planning to visit then.
Other than that we went to Gordon Ramsay Steak in Paris, Hard Rock Café and the usual haunts and casinos on the strip.
Hopefully will do some more trip type stuff when we go back as we are going for 7 nights this time rather than 5 and will also be flying direct from Manchester rather than via Philly which we did last time. Added way too much time onto the trip which eats into the time you are there.
We stayed at The Linq which I really enjoyed. O'Shay's bar especially!
I think we are in the Flamingo next time which wasn't my pref but the missus likes pink!
I hope there will be an Alien pin in NYNY or the other place by the time I return.
