Quoted from HisboyElroy:I got it for $275. I expected it to go for more based on prices I've seen online but that's as high as the bidding went...
That is a steal for that bottle.

Quoted from boscokid:Good question. I am still seeing GH and GI around here but noticed the high volume seller in Maryland had HB code on the shelf.
Can’t find GG or GH anywhere around me. Everything is newer. My wife found a GI in VA a month ago. Haven’t tried it yet.
Quoted from BrewNinja:For the private barrels, basically a store buys the entire barrel to sell. Its their "personal" barrel. Nobody else gets it. Its pretty common these days to see them.
Our local liquor superstore labels them "barrel select". My understanding is they actually sampled barrels at the distillery and picked one they liked. I got a Buffalo Trace barrel select that was excellent a couple of years ago and went back and bought another one. I'd like to think if the store actually gets to sample and select, and the person doing the evaluating has a good palate, you can end up with something more special than the standard offering.
Quoted from ypurchn:Can we talk about you being a Pinside member for 15 YEARS and 3 of your 6 posts EVER are in this thread and in the last 24 hours? I’m amazed. Did you realize your keyboard was simply unplugged these last 15 years?
How can that be? I didn’t think Pinside has been around for 10, much less 15 years.
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Good price on the blantons, stuff a few bottles in your carry on!
I would have if they would have let me buy it. Unfortunately my boarding pass said Kansas City, not Europe.
Quoted from t8tony8t:Anyone score any Goose Island Bourbon County yet?[quoted image]
Didn't try this year. Ended up with a lot from the last few years and haven't been going through it much.
