My damn shipment has only just now made it south to L.A. .... argh....
Just got home from my adventure. My boy and me and 2 buddies drove 4hrs north to pick up one of my Grail games. We rolled out at 0430 this morning and got back home at 400 this afternoon. It's a 1963 United Sabre 13ft ball bowler. Got back home in time to get it offloaded and sit down for Easter dinner on top of it.

Damn big fella you nailed it. Not sure how you guessed that but you are spot on sir.
Quoted from Green-Machine:That goes great next to a Tornado Foosball table
Gotta have the toys
I had a million dollar foosball table for years but got tired of playing it alone (which is absolutely no fun)
Quoted from Green-Machine:Nice find! Bet it smells old
Smells like cigarettes! I wiped it down with febreeze and then coated it with bounce dryer sheets. Hopefully that will help alleviate that smell.

Cause I've been playing these too damn long. A ball bowler is my grail too, but I'll likely never get one. I'll enjoy looking!

Ha !!!My first TZ I bought was a re-Import from Germany it smelled of cigarettes and brothels... sure paints a picture

But was it a 'real' foosball table, or one of those plastic hard things with rock balls?

Do you know “the Million Dollar machine”
It is the Mack Daddy original
Best ever built

Spray it full and shut the door!

The "Million Dollar Game" foosball tables were Tournament Soccer tables built in the 70's. They were the premier US table at the time, and supported by nationwide tournaments with prizes in the tens of thousands of dollars, with cars like Corvettes being given away to the winners as well. Source: Former "pro" foosball player (me), but not from that era.

Looks like the one I'm talking about. The balls had some give to them. You could grab them with the player and do some wicked control magic.
Back around '74 and '75 I wasted much time on those things.

They are so damn cool! If the switches are out of adjustment, God help ya!
Quoted from Green-Machine:How is MM and family doing?
We are doing well, thanks for asking. How are things in Dayton?
Will have to get a zoom or something going this week. We missed you the last time..

Glad you are doing well! Things are good in Dayton I’ll definitely try again on zoom. Things got weird last time trying to log on then my wife was giving me grief.
