sell me the OFBB and you drink the GTS
deal!
I’d go for the GTS. We all enjoy different flavor profiles. I find GTS a leg above OFBB Of it is just my opinion

I'm not sure how you could go wrong with either one of those bottles.

I haven’t had either. I really enjoy 1920 and Stagg Jr though. Looks like BB is winning...
Quoted from beergut666:Costco here has been killing it lately, with quality and prices. Got this "Granny's Batch" for $65, and will be going back for $40 bottles of Bakers Single, and $50 bottles of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof.[quoted image]
Damn those are amazing prices
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Damn those are amazing prices
Yeah, the Booker's was one bottle per customer, but there were about 20 sitting on the shelf so I don't see a problem with me going back to double dip. No bottle limit on the other two so I plan on getting at least two of the EC, those are $16 less than they have them priced at Total Wine and I really like that particular batch.

What batch of EC? Was it A120? I still don’t have that
Quoted from Forum-ninja:What batch of EC? Was it A120? I still don’t have that
C919, haven't seen A120 in Minnesota yet.
Quoted from SirScott:Sorry guys. I am cheating on y'all tonight with that other thread.

I'll be doing both later. Fresh Waldos' is an absolute treat if you are in to double IPAs.

Don't be racist now. It's the "Wuhan" virus.

I'm divin'!!

none of it in here please.
This is a thread without that stuff. Please respect it.
Quoted from rwmech5:Just getting into bourbon. Have a bottle of Knob Creek ,not bad.
You can do a LOT worse than KC, solid sipper.
Quoted from rwmech5:Thanks. Going to follow this thread and find some top shelf finds.
Welcome! Not all the top shelf bourbons are found on the top shelf, ancient Proverb probably somewhere.

E83A8A22-F668-447F-91BF-03FF6E883970 (resized).jpegI got a FB message today from a buddy (don’t use FB messenger ever) and the last time we used messenger was 6 years ago and it was a picture of the two bottles of ELT and 3 Blantons that I grabbed for him from my honey hole and a message saying they also had Weller 12, Weller Antique and Rock Hill Farms all for around $50. We got a good laugh out of that.

Yessir, I agree. We do get enough of that elsewhere.
Just trying to be accurate. It's not the flu. (:

Looks good, how was it?

Almost bought one of those today!
Quoted from TKDalumni:Would you guys trade EHT Barrel Proof for Michters Toasted Barrel? I have the EHT..
I would if I could find toasted
Quoted from TKDalumni:So it’s a fair trade..me giving up EHT?
That would be pretty much straight up as far as retail value goes in my area. Availability of either is pretty sporadic. I'm a huge EHT fan, but I'd probably give up a bottle of the single for that Michter's, I've only had one bottle and I really liked it.
Anyone have a bottle of old Fitz 15 they may want to trade, sell, etc...?
I have tapped any and all sources I can find. All the secondary spots I know of are now shut down. Looking for a score of something new while in the isolation booth of life.

I feel ya! Love to get hands on some Old Fitz. Only thing I’ve seen new is Jefferson’s sampler for $92. What I’ve tried from Jefferson....um not a big fan. It is unique I’ll give them that.

I’ll keep an eye open but FYI they’re approaching $350 these days.

Understand and thx!
Quoted from TKDalumni:So it’s a fair trade..me giving up EHT?
Which batch is it? They vary in price but overall it’s a pretty fair trade as long as yours isn’t an older batch. Both great pours, Toasted is sooo good.
Pretty sure I can get Old Fitz. Not sure of the price point though. What’s the ceiling for you guys? I’ll be able to hit up a few of my spots on Friday to check so let me know. Also, I see there are different kinds, so not sure if you guys are only seeking out one particular kind.
Quoted from TKDalumni:EHT is the 2019, 129.3
Gotcha. The valuations are close, the EHT is worth about $25 more. I prefer the higher proof of the EHT but the MTB is really good.
