Damn dude, no wonder I can’t find any, it’s all at your house. I’ve never needed a drink more than I do right now and this is going to be glorious! What a fucking week.[quoted image]

I’m pretty sure we’ll be crossing paths in the next month or so since you live about 10 minutes away...

    #4059 4 years ago

Nobody drinking on a Saturday night? I give Binny’s a lot of shit but whoever does their barrel picks is pretty damn good. Cheers.

Busiest two weeks ever on the trading floor. Closing it down Monday due to Coronavirus so we had to open up shop in an office all day today. Tomorrow I get to drive to Ohio and back to pick up my kid from school because they’re shutting it down for the year. You bet your ass I’m going top shelf tonight.

Please bring that to Ohio so we can share it

    #4066 4 years ago

Cheers. Our bottles are from very close barrels. Pretty cool

I get off on the first exit after the state line so start heading west at about noon.

Damn, I want to be in the cool kid club. What is retail on those? I see them on secondary for about $180 around here. Is that crazy talk?

If you can find retail it is around $130

I paid $200 per on secondary and well worth it for me.

Honestly one of my favorites. Just so much flavor and smooth. Plus it holds in your mouth so long! I usually don’t like anything over 15y as it gets too woody. EC18 esp from 2019 dumping is just so good!

    #4074 4 years ago

Ohio price restrictions has given me the opportunity to pay $130.00 for mine

Found me more toilet paper today!

Had to stop at two glasses of the EC 18, was really wanting to drink that one with friends so it's moving to the back of the shelf until the world regains safety and sanity. Fortunately there are plenty of other bottles to drink from.

Slumming it with Blantons huh? You poor bastard.

    #4082 4 years ago

This is my last splash, an old friend which has gotten so ridiculously priced that it’s likely my last bottle. I have one more after this and will be trading it for George T Stagg. Straight up. How stupid is that? Good stuff, but it’s no GTS. Down the hatch, I have to hit the road in a couple hours.

Safe travels, pouring my last one for the night as well, I'd go a little deeper into the night on a Saturday usually, but I'm going to the range tomorrow afternoon and probably going to be buying a new firearm too.

I have a cigar maybe one or twice a month or sometimes go longer every 2 or 3 months or longer as it varies. I am not as big as my favorite 6x60 sizeD cigars that I like.

Thanks. My wife and I were arguing all day yesterday about me picking my daughter up (she thinks I need a day of rest) so she snuck out early this morning with my son while I was still asleep to pick her up. Sneaky little shit. I drove by my range Friday and the parking lot was overflowing with cars. I guess everybody wants to sharpen their skills to guard their bottled water and tp.

Yup. If there’s bits of cork in the whiskey just strain it thru a coffee filter.

    #4089 4 years ago

Since we are all posting our 18yr EC bottling dates and barrel number I figured i'd chime in.

I’ve had this cork tool for about 45 years. Best broken cork remover ever.

    Mine was bottled same day

It’s only a 90 proofer, down the hatch it goes. If not I would just grab a cork from another bottle that’s almost gone or shitty enough where you don’t care if it gets aerated.

Just pored a good Knob Creek and watching West World. Anybody else?
