Oh now I'm jealous. Did they have any special distillery only bottles when you went?

They did have something but I can’t remember what exactly it was. Whatever it was it wasn’t great. I think it was finished in something.

Granny's Batch. Sweet!!
Quoted from Fulltilt:Granny's Batch. Sweet!!
Have you had it yet? Might be a stupid question
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Damn seems like you've got some pretty cheap prices up there in Minnesota. The full proof 1792 goes for $69 around me and that's if you can even find it. Sam's Club sells the regular 1792 for 25 bucks so I usually stock up on it when I'm there.
It's a very competitive market in Minneapolis/St Paul with eight Total Wine stores in the metro. Their buying power is insane, as someone who works in beer/liquor distribution I see it first hand. I don't do all of my shopping there, but for everyday stuff their prices are hard to beat.

No... I want some Granny's!! About to open my last Toogie's. I loved that one. I want some Granny's!!
I have six different, older batches of Bookers that I would be more than happy to get rid of at cost. Would be $90 plus shipping.
Quoted from Green-Machine:Big bookers fan too. Hard to find here for some reason. I’m about to finish 2019-4. I thought it was phenomenal. 2019-2 is next to open
Country Ham is my favorite. Bookers is pretty plentiful here so if you need any let me know.
Quoted from Chisox:I need to stop coming here during the week-you guys are making me thirsty.
Embrace it, brother.

I feel ya! I’m trying so hard not to have a drink of ..... sweet.... delicious.... bourbon!
Quoted from DBLM:Embrace it, brother.
That’s exactly what I want to do, give a bottle a good old fashioned Kentucky hug.

Not sure when I’ll get to Granny.
Well, seeing I just found out I’m on an extended vacation starting Friday(Board of Trade is closing it’s floor until further notice), time to enjoy a glass of my new fav bourbon. PinDeLaPin can now join me as of today...

Wow that is crazy! Well you got some free time to do some day drinking now for a few days it looks like
Quoted from New_England:What should I drink tonight?[quoted image]
From the looks of it I would say whatever the fuck you want

week is pretty fucked from my perspective.
I suggest getting on the high shelf, or the really good stuff in the bunker and start drinking.

Michter’s barrel proof, or maybe one of those delicious Willett ryes would be my choice.
Quoted from Green-Machine:Haven’t seen swillie on here in awhile.
I need to send him another Pappy’s cigar.
Bought backups of some favorites just in case things get even weirder than they already are. I also found a bit of a honey hole today with some killer sales, going back tomorrow for a couple of bottles of Russell's Reserve Single Barrel for $40 and Evan Williams Single Barrel for $17. They also had Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey for $18 so I'll probably grab one of those as well. I don't drink a lot of Irish or Scotch these days, but the price is right and from the bit I read about it I think it's worth a shot.

I used to smoke cigars years ago but never came across those.

I'm not a regular cigar smoker either but damn, great stuff.
Grab some.

I don't either but I get hot as hell sometime. (quote credit given to my mother...)
Quoted from New_England:I went with the 2019 Stagg. Man I love this bottle.[quoted image]
That glass edge hanging over that shelf is giving me sweaty palms. Good choice BTW.

Was thinking the same thing....so close
Quoted from BrewNinja:Picked up a couple hitchhikers from IL today Binnys was clearancing out the walking dead bourbon for $10 a bottle. Still couldn't bring myself to pay $10 for one.[quoted image]
Haven’t seen the 100 proof VOB in forever. Thought it didn’t exist anymore.

Good call on not picking up that $10 bottle of walking dead, it isn't worth $5. Nice score on that ET bottle it has become my new favorite daily sipper. When you crack her open post your thoughts on it i'm curious as to what everybody else thinks about it.
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Just went to total wine to get a bottle and lo and behold next thing I know my boy and me are playing pinball and we weren't even at home.[quoted image]
Nice!
Quoted from bowz:Bunkering down...[quoted image]
Oh hell yes! Such fantastic bourbon and definitely one to fill the bunker with.
Quoted from bowz:Bunkering down...[quoted image]
Damn dude, no wonder I can’t find any, it’s all at your house. I’ve never needed a drink more than I do right now and this is going to be glorious! What a fucking week.

It's still not available in Minnesota, so I'm pretty envious, have heard nothing but good things about it. Their ryes have never blown me away, especially considering the price tag on them.
