People have been quick flipping PVW23 for about $2k the last few months, when they usually flip for 2.2-2.4...
With the most recent washing of the secondaries on FB yesterday, maybe they will continue to trend down?
FWIW, I wouldn't pay $50 over retail for it; too oaky and dry, for my tastes...

I don't know about to Oaky and I don't know about too dry what I do know is it's to fucking expensive for this guy.

I have not seen small batch on the shelf for probably a year

Oddball side thing for bourbon drinkers and Pinburgh players...

A couple of us had a pretty epic Saturday night last year sampling a number of good whiskies and beers right on the floor after finals last year; a great time was had playing pinball after, too!

    I propose the following:

If you are going to Pinburgh, bring an interesting bottle with you.

If you qualify for finals in any division, you agree to open said bottle and celebrate said accomplishment after finals on Saturday with folks in this group. We’ll meet up at a location of the winner(s) choice.

If you don’t, we’ll just drink good bourbon anyways!

I’ll bring something awesome from the following, and maybe others:

    Anybody else with me?

    #3856 4 years ago

I’ll bring a bottle too although I don’t think I have anything as special as some of you guys. I’ll post a list and you guys can pick the bottle for me.

Nothing I drink and piss out is worth 2 grand

I'm sure this is fairly easy for some of you guys to come by but it is very difficult to find it around me. I know some of you have said they jacked the price up on it but since it's never been available here I only know it at current pricing. I really enjoy it so don't mind paying $50 for it when I can find a bottle on the shelf.

Well... maybe. It's a convoluted path from mouth to penis. An interesting brain connection involved.

Found a nice bottle in the back of the cabinet. A nice bang for your buck.

I will be in Jacksonville Beach/Jacksonville FL this weekend. I am hoping to do some bourbon hunting. Would anyone be able to recommend a couple of shops?

    Thanks,

Why is it that after a stressful day of work a nice glass of bourbon always just hits the spot when you walk in the front door?

A new pin warrants a new bottle. Just got done setting up a Deadpool Pro and grabbed a bottle earlier to celebrate when the game was up and running. I had a bottle of Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit in my hand and got to talking with a manager about bourbon for a bit. He asked me if I'd rather have a bottle of a Russel's Reserve Single Barrel store pick that they kept in the back as to not get mixed in with the other bottles of Single Barrel they keep up front on the shelf. I was already there for a Wild Turkey product and I'm a fan of the RR Single so I went with that instead. Cheers!

Got access to some bourbon that others might not have access too. Let me know ASAP if you want any.
3 bottles of George Stagg - 2 for $350 each and the other is $499
    1 Rock Hill - $149
6 bottles of Stagg Jr - 99 each
    10 bottles of McKenna 10yr - $47 to 60

Not sure if this is still open but I would take a GTS and a Rock Hill if it’s still available.

I’ve been on the lookout for Weller12 and Willett Family Bourbon. Been trying to trade my EHT GOG +kickers for WLW or Pappy15. It’s near impossible to get these products in Vermont.

Its coming along slowly but surely. I had this old antique cabinet just sitting around so I repurposed it as my overflow bourbon holder. Problem is it still didn't hold everything either.

Question for you guys on this thread...
What’s a EC barrel proof A119 worth? Is it tasty or better to look for a A120 batch?

I have 3 different batches but only one open is A117 and I really like it. As far as price I believe it was $69 last time I bought any.

Seek out the A120,of those two it is the winner. I paid 45.00$ for A119.

Wow thats cheap I woulda bought a few at that price. I guess booze is more pricey in Missouri and Illinois cause that's where I buy most of my shit.

    #3881 4 years ago

Thanks for the info guys! It’s $68 plus tax for the bottle so I’m going to pass. The place selling it isn’t known as discount store by any means. Just looking to cut back on the beer and maybe get into a bourbon or two...

Low retail on the Barrel Proof in Minnesota is $65 and in my opinion it's worth buying at that price. If I found it at $45 I'd buy several at a time. I've yet to purchase one I didn't like.

Congrats on the DP, awesome game that is still my favorite regardless of what new machine comes in. Also congrats on the excellent bottle of whiskey as RR SB store picks are golden.

This JD is damn tasty...kinda cool they state the barrel weight. Apparently a filled barrel weight about double this and the evaporation leave a more full flavored whiskey. This was from a couple years ago when I was at the distillery.

So this Bakers thing got me thinking we could do some sort of sample swap here. Nice way to try different whiskeys without having to pay for a whole bottle. 2 oz would be ideal. Anybody else interested?
