They must have brought back those bottles. They had several fan talil bottles on the shelf.

Quoted from PinDeLaPin:I agree. Never had the cask strength but the regular AE is way too light for my tastes.
Good glad to know others agree or see it like me, because when I tell people I dislike they look at me like I am crazy go figure.
Looking for a bottle of Weller12. My wife loves it and asked for me to reach out to find one for her. Thanks in advance

I’ll keep my eyes peeled.
Quoted from Fulltilt:What to do on your birthday when trying to not open that Pappy?

I don't like either of you now, but if I score one we will be back on speaking terms again.

Uhh you have whitewater! That’s a pretty sweet pin.
Always wanted to play Flintstones.
Looks like according to this last store I popped in that Larceny barrel proof is supposed to be in nxt week.

Yeah me too.. don't think it's going to happen for a while though. Until then I will just keep buying bourbon instead.
So is the colonel e.h. Taylor small batch or straight rye better? I saw them both tonight and want to buy one.

That depends whether or not you like bourbon or rye better? I'm not a fan of rye whiskey so it's small batch for me.

I must like everything . I didn’t realize there was that much of a difference in taste. I like my willet straight rye so figured I would probably like colonel too. Also grabbed some bourbon too...

Cornerstone is fantastic. Whether it’s worth $160 retail is subjective. I hate recommending expensive bottles to people but it’s some great whiskey.
Quoted from Green-Machine:Retail on OHLQ here on Ohio is $199 for cornerstone. I can’t remember price at local store
Well it’s a special bottle, there’s no doubt. $200 is steep and at least $25 more than what I paid at Binny’s. I would pay $200 in a heartbeat for the Revival or the 17 yr they put out a couple yrs ago. If you love ryes, Cornerstone was one of the top three I’ve ever had.
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Just walked in the door and poured some good stuff its been a long week.[quoted image]
So what’s the verdict on the WFP? I still haven't tried it but hear it’s pretty god dang good. Like Stagg Jr to George T Stagg-Weller Full Proof to William LaRue Weller good.

It is really good stuff. Problem is though I only have one bottle so you won't see me drinking anymore of it for a while.
Quoted from Green-Machine:Retail on OHLQ here on Ohio is $199 for cornerstone. I can’t remember price at local store
I thought that stores couldn't vary from OHLQ (state) pricing?
They can’t. Someone else was saying it was $160. I hear they can go lower but not higher. And if it isn’t selling at one store that the state can take it off the shelf and move it to to another store.

That barrel proof coming in HOT at 128.1! I don't get super jealous over most of these posts but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little envious of your evening. Eagerly waiting on your report!
Been gone from pinside for 2 weeks while in some shithole country with no bourbon - I did go to bar with 800+ bottles of single malt. No menu. You just walk around and point at what’d you like.
Forced to drink lots of great beer since that’s what the country is known for. No joke, beer is cheaper than Cokes. Extremely disappointed with the lack of duty free options for bourbon at the airports. Absolutely nothing.
Heading to Detroit/Ann Arbor in a few weeks. Any suggestions on stores to check out or bars to visit?
Quoted from Fulltilt:Resisted buying 2 new pins for the new speaker system in the man-cave.... This is how you wait.

New speakers? yes!! Which thread is the reveal ?

Tippins Market in Ann Arbor. They had 50+ barrel picks last year alone (albeit they were not all bourbon, but most were).
(And they usually have bottles opened behind the counter for sampling--just ask real nice if there is something you are thinking about purchasing, especially the barrel picks).

Seems to be the new trend.

Well come out with it... what was the verdict?
Quoted from Chisox:New speakers? yes!! Which thread is the reveal ?
Under Vinyl or course!
Or maybe both, I think these might be worth opening up that Pappy. (:
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Anybody seen the Rock Hill Farms lately for a decent price? I need a replacement bottle and am not paying stupid inflated prices for it[quoted image]
What’s a decent price? I can get it.
Quoted from djreddog:What’s a decent price? I can get it.
$60-$75 at most would be good for sure but not sure if thats realistic anymore. I can currently get it at a store but i'm not paying $125 for a bottle I used to buy all the time for $39
