What bottles do you have coming?

    #3209 4 years ago

Mine is still sealed up its too damn hard to come by. Last bottle lasted me 5 years I only took drinks on my b-day and new years. Thats my strategy for the super hard to come by bottles I supplement them throughout the year with good easier to find bottles

EC18 from 2019. Had to buy on secondary but happy to find one.

It begins with a fruity, spicy smell and then gets even better on the tongue. The flavor is a mix of sweet caramel and vanilla, with enough oak -- but not too much -- to give it complexity. It closes with a finish that is warm and succulent. Cleans off a little quicker than I would like.

You really should not subject yourself to any more of this sub-par bourbon. Go ahead and box it up and I will p.m. you my address and take it off your hands for you.

    #3216 4 years ago

I’ll bring it to TPF2020. Will you be there?

Replaces Bailey's in every way. Pretty good poured over a couple cubes as well, as a guilty pleasure.

I tend to make my own as it's pretty easy and cheap to make; have even made a keto friendly version with heavy cream, Splenda, baker's chocolate, and some other things I'm forgetting from a recipe I found online. Made keto easy when there was a craving for something sweet.

Damn, I really didn't want to spend $130 for a bottle of hooch, but I think you guys may have convinced me to pick up some EC18. Going to hit my go-to store tomorrow, and if they have it, I'm going to buy.

    #3223 4 years ago

    Old Forester Old Fashioned anyone?

Yes finally had Stagg jr at the hotel bar after our company party last Friday. I really enjoyed it, two glasses.

    #3228 4 years ago

Sucking down this beauty smooth, but with a nice burn and strong vanilla and toffee flavour. Recommend buying it.

That’s about as good of a score as it gets for me. How much were each of them by you?
Jr is around 43 and the Antique just jumped and is 50 by me.

    #3231 4 years ago

One is fun. But 2 is twice as nice.

Like pinball, there is usually no additional charge when shipping a second in the same package.

Secondary market so I paid $450 shipped for the pair, but I wanted them and will drink em.

Nice score on the batch 13, I hear it’s really good. I never got my hands on batch 12 so I had to go secondary for it. Supposedly the last couple batches are better than 2019 Sr. Stagg, so I’m doing a batch 12/2019 GTS throwdown in a couple weeks with some buddies. Should be interesting.

    #3242 4 years ago

Bought this today to enjoy while I watch the snow pile up outside. At 112.2 proof I think this is the strongest bottle of this that I have had. Last one I got was 109 I believe.

Anyone know how this compares to EC barrel proof? That's one of my faves, but there seems to be diminishing returns past $100 or so.

Just opened the first bottle of EC18 and it is still so damn good! So happy I bought two and will be hunting for some more to stock up

I always try to have at least 2 of my favorites but anymore with demand outpacing supply it is tough.
