Ohio is a restriction state. If you can find it you get it at market

Well when is the big opening event for that bottle?
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Well when is the big opening event for that bottle?
Tonight! We don’t mess around at my house
Quoted from Whysnow:Nice score! Let us know your thoughts
Thanks! My wife is home from work just now So very shortly we will partake
My bottle should arrive on Friday! Just in time for the weekend.
If you decide you don’t like it, pls keep me in mind for any future bottles you find

What bottles do you have coming?
Mine is still sealed up its too damn hard to come by. Last bottle lasted me 5 years I only took drinks on my b-day and new years. Thats my strategy for the super hard to come by bottles I supplement them throughout the year with good easier to find bottles
Quoted from Green-Machine:What bottles do you have coming?
EC18 from 2019. Had to buy on secondary but happy to find one.
It begins with a fruity, spicy smell and then gets even better on the tongue. The flavor is a mix of sweet caramel and vanilla, with enough oak -- but not too much -- to give it complexity. It closes with a finish that is warm and succulent. Cleans off a little quicker than I would like.

so you like everything but the lack of a long hug?

I’m missing the hug. It may open up for the next time now that it’s been uncorked

You really should not subject yourself to any more of this sub-par bourbon. Go ahead and box it up and I will p.m. you my address and take it off your hands for you.
I’ll bring it to TPF2020. Will you be there?

Haven't decided yet. I've heard good things about this so I snagged a bottle today has anyone had it yet?

Replaces Bailey's in every way. Pretty good poured over a couple cubes as well, as a guilty pleasure.
I tend to make my own as it's pretty easy and cheap to make; have even made a keto friendly version with heavy cream, Splenda, baker's chocolate, and some other things I'm forgetting from a recipe I found online. Made keto easy when there was a craving for something sweet.

I thought it was pretty tasty.

I think that's msrp, it comes up as $130 at my local Total Wine:

Damn, I really didn't want to spend $130 for a bottle of hooch, but I think you guys may have convinced me to pick up some EC18. Going to hit my go-to store tomorrow, and if they have it, I'm going to buy.

ummmm If they have multiples then hook a brother up!
Quoted from TKDalumni:Old Forester Old Fashioned anyone?[quoted image]
That’s probably pretty tasty. Drinking some 1910 right now myself. Cheers!
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Damn u broke out "The Boss" for that bad boy
The recipe does call for a rye whiskey.
Yes finally had Stagg jr at the hotel bar after our company party last Friday. I really enjoyed it, two glasses.
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:Well apparently I picked a couple of good days to go back out on the hunt. Scored these 1 little gems just now at 1 of my shops.[quoted image]
That’s about as good of a score as it gets for me. How much were each of them by you?
Jr is around 43 and the Antique just jumped and is 50 by me.

$50 for the stagg jr and $55 for the antique.
Quoted from Whysnow:One is fun. But 2 is twice as nice.
Like pinball, there is usually no additional charge when shipping a second in the same package.
Secondary market so I paid $450 shipped for the pair, but I wanted them and will drink em.[quoted image]
Very nice to have a pair of those bad boys.

Enjoy the oaky goodness!
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:$50 for the stagg jr and $55 for the antique.
Those are still great prices for each of those.
Congrats!!
Quoted from New_England:Spent the week in Denver. This was my haul.[quoted image]
What is the odd bottle on left?

Nice score on the batch 13, I hear it’s really good. I never got my hands on batch 12 so I had to go secondary for it. Supposedly the last couple batches are better than 2019 Sr. Stagg, so I’m doing a batch 12/2019 GTS throwdown in a couple weeks with some buddies. Should be interesting.
Quoted from Green-Machine:Any takes on this?[quoted image]
Well since your giving it away i"ll take it I guess

Anyone know how this compares to EC barrel proof? That's one of my faves, but there seems to be diminishing returns past $100 or so.

Just opened the first bottle of EC18 and it is still so damn good! So happy I bought two and will be hunting for some more to stock up

I always try to have at least 2 of my favorites but anymore with demand outpacing supply it is tough.
