    Quoted from PinDeLaPin:

$50 for a 12 year singlr bartel sounds too good to be true but let us know how it is.

And add tax about $5 bucks

    #1502 4 years ago

Man, every time I have this I’m more impressed than the last. Tastes like a bullseye, caramel and vanilla for days. So good.

We discovered this one about a little less than year ago and love it. Best price for 10years we found was $74. The black label harder to find. Enjoy.

    Anybody going to Pinburgh?

I typically bring a bottle of OWA with me to shows, but it usually ends up going the first night, haha.

If anybody would like to share or sample, let's coordinate here and see if we can't get a mobile tasting lounge set up.

    #1510 4 years ago

    It's 5 oclock somewhere right!

    I am always for trading.

I can bring some J Henry and Sons (5 or 7 year age stamp)
I prefer something local to the trader with a similar age stamp and price.

This goes for anyone. LMK if you want to try the local Dane WI made/distilled goodness

    #1512 4 years ago

    Tonight's opening.

I will certainly share some of what I have at Helicon Brewing if you are around. Let me know.

If anyone wants to do a trade... hit me up soon. Jhenry can take a little bit of effort to track down recently. I know I can find it, but time is limited between now and travel

You coming to helicon any day?

    Quoted from cjmjmm2006:

You coming to helicon any day?

Current plan is to leave next Tuesday after work and drive till we are pooped.

Then drive the rest on Wednesday. The Helicon tourney starts too late for us (want to be fresh for Pinburgh on Thursday), but would love to stop but around noon as we roll in to town.

What time do you open it?

    #1518 4 years ago

Can't describe the perfection in the package received today. Pinsider's are one of a kind.

"Water samples for the lab.".. and actually St. Louis "hood whiskey". I LOVE IT!! (:

Can't decide to open it now or after the surgery next week. In the meantime, it included a copy of Porky's for the perfect touch!

I flew home from Reagan National last Sunday and thought, how convenient. Then the girl asked if I was on an international flight. Oh well.

My buddy and I just did a taste test. Out best was left to right.

Yup $10.25. At least I got to spend time with my daughter. She bought the tickets for me for Father’s Day.

Got a couple of new ones to try. At the left is a WA whiskey, Heritage. Don't like it, it will become a mixing whiskey It's weird that it's called a bourbon though even though it's a mix of new and used casks, not sure how that works. Middle is Redemption which is pretty good. I still like the one on the right better though. At first I wasn't as crazy about it but now I really like it, I guess my whiskey palette is changing?

Okay, this is only mildly related to bourbon.

So I am travelling to KY for some distillery tours, and was looking for places to eat. A place called "Hammerheads" sounded interesting in Louisville (literally it is in a guy's basement).

Anyway, went to show my wife a picture of it, and here is what is shown on Google Street View.

Is this a Kentucky thing? I am currently re-evaluating my plans.
