Big shout out to my man Green-Machine who did me a big favor by helping me get a bottle of OWA which is a total unobtainium here. Thank you Aaron, I'll crack this bad boy open tonight!

Now on to the EC store picks. This stuff is mighty fine for only 94 proof. If itbwas somewhere around 110 proof it woukd be off the charts good.

Hilton was 100% on the money. This is pretty damn great. Honey on the front, cream on the back, and complex in the middle. Very, very smooth. Pricey, but I dig it. Two thumbs up from me.

Plus, I got my new Norlan Sinder glass. Love the smokey look of it and the heft. Will wait for a sale snd will buy several more.

I need to become closer friends with Aaron over the next year. Never even seen a bottle of Antique in these parts let alone a big dog like that.

Aaron's a great guy and i'm glad he found his way into this thread. I was really hoping to meet up with him earlier this year when I made a run down to Cincinnati but we just couldn't make it happen. I'm sure when we get together for Matt's big I've got Crabs 2.0 crab festival nxt year we will all be hootin and a hollerin!

Thanks for the kind words Bill! Soon as Covid 2.0 is over maybe we can finally get back to normal. Flip on and sip on!

Aaron is beyond a good dude! Genuinely, one of the greatest guys that I have met on this thread. It is a good thing I am no longer selling to the Air Force and coming to Dayton twice a month because our livers would be bruised and we would have permanent stools at The Century!

2 great days in a row around here. My man Green-Machine yesterday and now today Johnny Rotten aka Chisox came through like the 1st of the month. You 2 are hooking a brother up big time. Big time shout out!

It's so good! The 94 proof Remus is fine for what it is, but the barrel picks from the two stores here that got them are next level.

I can only speak for the guy at the one store that I buy all my store picks from. This guy's pallet is literally off the charts good I honestly don't know how he can pick such good store picks.

Seems there is always a little risk in a bourbon purchase. Tasting it before you buy like your guy is a surer way to a favored flavor profile unless the taster is flawed I’ve never bought but one store pick and I happened to love it.

Glad I could help. I’m 70% sure it’s at least 50% Rona free. Unfortunately I feel SW uncut is going to become a unicorn as I’ve already seen it on three best-of 2020 lists and it’s barely mid-November. If you see it, stock up.

How are the group of guys who had Covid bouncing back?

I’m finally 100% (outside of still having taste and smell issues) as of yesterday. So about 2 weeks in total with about 5.5 total days of complete shittiness for me. 4 days of misery week one and like a weird 1.5 day of misery (round 2) in week 2. Thanks for all the well wishes all.

And Aaron if you’ve still got some of those liter bottles of OWA hanging around in Ohio, I’d be up for one of those.

Hope you regain all the "smell issues". I had a viral illness several years ago that took that away. Never has been the same.
Public press wants to portray that as a Covid thing.. but it can happen with many UR viral infections.

Yeah it is! I haven’t tried 14 but I still have 9-13 and they’re all phenomenal, especially after they breathe for a a while. Not sure if you got to taste the first few batches, but they were mostly trash. Somewhere around batch 7 or 8 they figured it out and a couple of them over the last couple years have been almost BTAC worthy, which is pretty dadgum amazing. Cheers!
