I think this is my final vote
Is that best to worst or worst to best?
Quoted from bowz:Is that best to worst or worst to best?
Best to worst
Number 3 had an odd funk to it I just couldn’t get past. All the rest I thought were very drinkable

Much different than most everyone else, but that’s all good. I’ll show you the bourbons at the next zoom.

Hey man if you see that bottle of Blue Note buy it. Pretty sure you will be pleasantly surprised by this Tennessee bourbon

Moreso “that” Tennessee bourbon sucked, but I’m up for a July 4th war!!!

I don't recall my exact order, but didn't I have #3 rated fairly low as well?
#3 was a bit pukie for me.... not disgusting but off somehow. I pick up on the same profile from a Irish whiskey or a Japanese whiskey sometimes
Quoted from Fulltilt:Should'a been on Zoom. Classic...

Absolutely! Looking for a whiskey that pairs with coconut cream pie
Quoted from SirScott:Crack open that A120. I am anxious to hear your thoughts on it. I haven't opened my B520 yet.
Well Scott you certainly don't have to twist my damn arm so here's to you buddy. Cheers!

I really like this A120 it is much better than the bottle of A119 that I have. Crazy they can taste so much different.
Quoted from SirScott:Holy shit, that is good. Maybe just send that bottle back, Bill, and we'll call it even.
Ok give me a few mins we just got back from dinner I eill crack that one open also which normally I would never do. Scott you have corrupted me!
Quoted from SirScott:Holy shit, that is good. Maybe just send that bottle back, Bill, and we'll call it even.
Wow!!.... Holy shit this B520 is amazing. For being 127 proof it is amazingly smooth. Really pick up on the carmel nuttiness on the finish. This is a fantastic bottle.
20200706_175459 (resized).jpgAgreed. My son, who normally doesn't drink bourbon, said, "Wow, that is a face-punch of butterscotch."
Now I need to hunt for another bottle (or two) of this. Nothing showing up in OH. I think this is the only one I have left.

It is really really good. Hands down one of the best bourbons I have had in a while.
What’s a good price for the EC barrel proof? I think I saw for 70 but that seemed high and I passed.

It's $65 to $75 at most places around here. It all disappears very fast at that price, and I've yet to be disappointed by any of the recent batches.
I'm up here in Springfield il today and hit up 2 spots and both said they were supposed to have gotten the B520 EC back in june and still haven't gotten any.
