It is better than the Castle Cream, which is another one of my favorites. Enjoy and I hope you got it for a good price.

It's $50 around me. I might have a few bottles of it squirreled away. (But one always opened.)

Well, that was me at the last Zoom meeting, sans the bag. Next time I'm going to be sure to wear the bag.
I was good until I took that shot of Pappy and cracked open that bottle of GTS. Don't remember much after that till my wife asked me "what the hell is wrong with you?". I blamed it on those Zoom bourbon guys....

Some of those guys must really get the kneepads out because that shit is either secondary or secondary pricing if I see it in the wild.

Finally scored a New Riff SiB Rye and a random Smoke Wagon Uncut today. And da beers. Hey bowz , the new batch of Beer Hates Astronauts has been released!

Enjoying a buffalo trace on a Thursday... call me simple but this is damn fine stuff. Not overly complex but the flavor profile is spot on. Serious question - How do the achieve the nice spice with such a low rye mash bill. My first time attaching a picture (yes I’m old). Hopefully it works.

Oh and that the pour was bigger than this when I started. I must be confused!AE41A10C-1BBD-4018-8846-0995A9E66911 (resized).jpegAE41A10C-1BBD-4018-8846-0995A9E66911 (resized).jpeg

In all seriousness, just went to my guy in Kenwood on Tuesday and he told me he had it. Got the case from Binny’s yesterday.

On a side note-did some serious work this afternoon pretending I worked for amazon, so packages are labeled about going out tomorrow morning. And no matter what I do the goddamn picture ends up sideways!!

You guys are making me jealous with your Half Acre hauls. I have access to unlimited amounts of amazing beer for free, but I still make the 70 mile round trip to Wisconsin at least once a month to grab a case of Daisy Cutter.

It’s amazing how many breweries in Chicago are cranking out awesome beer: Half Acre, Hop Butcher, Maplewood, Brothership, Phase Three, Noon Whistle ....the list goes on and on.

I personally don’t like a lot of IPA’s, but Daisy cutter and Maplewood Son of Juice got me started.
Beer hates Astronauts is on another level-best stuff ever.

Sometimes I miss drinking rot gut liquor. On those days I wrap a paper sack around my Bookers and sip out of the bottle

    Quoted from Green-Machine:

Do I need to send somebody to conduct a wellness visit on you? As soon as I got my first real paycheck, I swore off anything in a plastic bottle, Fighting Cock, Ten High, Two Fingers Tequila, Tarantula Tequila, Everclear, all malt liquor, Beast Ice, Olympia, and anything in a trashcan. I am sure I am missing a few.
