Came across a beer called "Contact High" by the 4 Hands Brewing Co. out of Missouri that the label depicts a pinball playfield. Not sure what the beer taste like but neat to see someone using a playfield design on their label!

    Flavored with hops or hemp

    #4 10 years ago

I would try one for sure. Orange zest.... sounds refreshing.

    #5 10 years ago

meSz did you find that locally?
I'm interested in trying a couple!

Nice, I'm having a Corona right now since it's sunny in San Diego!!!

    #7 10 years ago

    Looks like one to try!

I wish there was a way to thumb up a thread title. You had me at Pinball and Beer.

Sweet, I live in MO & frequent the specialty beer shops often

Who ever brews that like to smoke weed & play pinball

    Contact High lol

    #9 10 years ago

    CONTACT HIGH
Not just another boring wheat ale. We made Contact High, our spring and summer seasonal, exciting by adding copious amounts of pacific northwest hops and dry hopping with fresh orange zest. Contact High pours a bright orange hue with a big citrus aroma.

This is the write up from the 4 Hands Brewery web site

    #10 10 years ago

I like both. Title of the thread made me read it.

    #11 10 years ago

Pinball & beer go together like milk & cookies.

    Quoted from Garrett:

    Flavored with hops or hemp

    Maybe both.

    #13 10 years ago

Pretty good ratings at RateBeer.com and BeerAdvocate.com as well. Nice lower 5% ABV for summer drinking. Next time I'm at the local store will have to scout some out!

You live in one of the top craft brew cities and you're drinking Corona? Even Vons sells Stone/AleSmith/Alpine/Ballast Point/Pizza Port/Green Flash/Coronado/and ubiquitous Karl Strauss, to name a few.
I'll assume you've had a few and that typo meant "Coronado"!

I just brewed a saison with lemon grass, honey, and orange peel. I can't wait to try it.

    #20 10 years ago

I live in the area and love 4 hands brew. Been trying to
pick some up for the kegerator but haven't found a retail distributor for barrels. Anyway I've sampled that very beer and can confirm its yummy.

"I don't always drink beer, but when I do, it's BEER OF THE MONTH CLUB! My wife got it for me for my Birthday. You get a 12 pack of four different microbrews each month. Never had any shipment that wan't stellar. Costs like $18.00 per month, right to your door.

Pinballwizard79 you just became my new hero. If the beer didn't do it, the Empire Strikes Back glass did.

You have not lived until you've tried Kettle House Coldsmoke Scotch Ale.

Scotch Ale???????? The only thing better would be licking some off of Kate Upton's body.

Have you tried any of these fine brewskys?

Dragon's Milk by New Holland is one of my current favorites. Palo Santo Marron (Dogfish Head) is probably my all-time favorite, though.

No, wait. my current favorite is Founders Breakfast Stout!

Celebrated my first pin buy 3 years ago with a Stone 14th Anniversary. Now an annual tradition around release day to share Stone's anniversary beer with friends and the crypt keeper.
