replaced carpet in game room to wood floors. i used round carpet slides under the feet with carpet. i am wondering what everyone uses that have hardwood or hard surface flooring?
for the most part the games will not move but sometime will need to slide out for service.

Silicon feet. Also now is your chance to invest in a pinball lift cart

Some people like to place silicone feet on back legs and magic sliders on the front. The sliders allow you to nudge the pins front legs, but the silicone feet won't allow the back legs to shift, preventing you from banking the cabinet heads together.

I used to buy the Magic Sliders brand sku# 4600, but it looks like it's discontinued or temporarily out of stock. You want a slider that has a suction cup appearance as there is no adhesive. Model 4060 is a disk, with felt pad and an adhesive layer that will stick to your leveler.

I use felt bottom metal cups that allow some movement, but don't easily sashay side to side when you're nudging. Basically these:

Says "carpet bottom," but it's super low-pile, more like fuzzy felt. Never had one scratch a floor or pop out from under a leveler.

I had silicon sliders but didn't like the extra jiggle and sway they added to each vibration and nudge. Switched them out for a 3x5 area rug that matched nicely with the color of the machine while leaving the hardwood in the rest of the room exposed. Helped with the echo reflecting off the downward firing speaker too.

The bottom of the Pinball Life perfectplay silicone leg leveler casters are slick.

These are made out of rubber, and grip the floor better:

I buy them by the hundred.

I usually don't recommend suzo products, so if you get on the suzohapp webpage and try to buy ANYTHING ELSE for a pinball you may end up in tears. (Seriously, don't buy their leg levelers, their flipper cranks, the list goes on and on... extremely poor quality!)

When you use the leg leveler cups from suzohapp, you won't be scooting the front of the pinball when you nudge.

As for scooting the pinball out for service, I try to make sure that the customers VERY expensive wood flooring is never damaged, so I like the Happ leg leveler cups. They will scoot on wood, but only with care. I think the pinball life silicon version might suit you better if you are constantly pulling your pinball out for service.
