There is a modification you might want to try first. The wire harness that goes from the Prism card to the sound board is Zip tied together and some have found this to cause static. I clipped the zip ties and spread the wires and then used electrical tape to tape them "fanned out". I didn't have sound issues but mine had the cab speaker wires clipped and I thought maybe someone had sound issues.

I purchased a new cab speaker from Marco's.

Here's a link to a little info on it. It's about all I know about the issue. http://www.pinball2000.de/troubleshooting.htm#STATIC

But yeah, it's in the computer case this is the harness I'm referring to: http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=781

Quoted from RDReynolds:

I actually have two computers, they kinda do the same thing.

I would guess it's a fairly good chance it's the speakers but you never know.

Yup, circled yellow. I really don't know what the green is. I've been meaning to ask someone

Quoted from pinballj:

The green thing is a ferrite bead. Normally you find these built into VGA cables (the hump)

Cool, thanks!

It's a good repair night because I just fixed a problem with my virtual pin cab that had been haunting me for a while
