YES SIRS! Tilt is probably the best information out there at the moment about pin2000. And I agree as well. The pin2000 was an awesome concept and it sold and made Williams money! They sold over 10,000 units of RFM! They turned over a profit and it was going great! Once they got into that Star Wars LICENSE and had to raise the price of a machine to pay for that, THAT'S what killed them. There were license and distribution problems with that line of machine and the greedy "suit and ties" were making oodles of money with the gambling machines so they pulled the plug on the pinball line, probably to set up another gambling machine production line as well could be another reason.
Once you purchased the 'base' machine you could change out the playfield,software and signage marquee's to put in different games to the cabinet. Kind of a jamma type of system (like the arcade games used to be). I would love to own a RFM! The thing is, no one wants to sell them. I have only seen the Star Wars pin 2000's for sale around here!
