I don't know why every Pin2DMD thread needs to have ColorDMD promoters in them. They're different products and they're aimed at different audiences. Their development timelines point to two similar products that rose up in parallel. That happens fairly often.

For any of my colored DMDs, I've always used ColorDMD, but as we all know, competition is good. For the ColorDMD camp to say that they haven't taken some influence from Pin2DMD is disingenuous. Having both products in the market will make both products better over time.
