Anyone got a pin2dmd colorization for a real Doctor Who? That they're willing to share?
Anyone got a pin2dmd colorization for a real Doctor Who? That they're willing to share?
Someone started a virtual pin colorization a few months ago, I wonder if there's a way to convert from that to the real deal?
Anyone tried working with that existing project? Playing around with it in the editor but I'm a newb at this and having mixed results.
I looked at it, but was in the same situation. One thing I do notice is that some of the artwork done for the Pin2dmd doesn't know how to deal with a credit dot. Other artwork does. So beware the credit dot after the score. I know you can add a variable area.
The ToM artwork doesn't seem to handle it.
Quoted from byurick:A taste of some colorization done so far, I'm still learning the software so its a quite a work in progress but I hope to have something for the community even if its not fully finished.

Nicely done! DW has a lot of screens not color - nowhere near as much as STTNG but more than a lot of other games

Oh thats awesome! I can't wait to try it Thank you so much for doing this!
I realize it is pixels of color. The above looks like a cross stitch project my wife would sew. Hmm, I wonder if she would do that for me.
Anyway, looks like a great job and a lot of work. I have a color DMD. I complained about the fact that in some video modes, one Doctor starts to enter the screen and quickly changes to a different one. They claimed it was in the original software. That they only colored the pixels. It happens to many doctors before the jumping starts. You do not notice it in Original Orange mode. Then occasionally, when displaying Stats it goes into black and white mode till the next video comes on.
Keep the pictures of coloring dots coming~~~!!!

Looking Good!! How is your progress on this project? Github had some (unfinished) Dr. Who files last time I looked....they might fill in some work for you, but your stuff looks great! Wish I had the patience to learn new software....too many projects, and too little time left!

Thanks! I've not had much time to work on this but figured I would let others see the project and what's been done so far. Feel free to take a look and make your own copy to fix all my mistakes and other scenes I've yet to finalize. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lc0pa39v1rkuh9u/AACygR1qr8CXnIXLDQK3Td58a?dl=0

There’s a folder in my Dropbox link that has the current project pin2dmd files you can use. Just put them in the sd card.
