I've used local companies to cut glass here. Get the measurements and tell them you need tempered glass.
Thinking this is a better way to go.
    New glass no scratches.

    Not for Pin2K glass.

What about the reflected material used in pin2k glass?

Last time I saw P2K glass for sale it was nearly $1k. I've got a RFM on location and I'm more nervous about the glass getting broken.

PPS was selling them for ~$300 per sheet a couple years ago. It'd be worth contacting them so that they can assess demand to get these back onto the market.

The originals basically used a reverse/negative resistance coating and then had a more traditional silvering process applied. If you look closely, you can see the screening lines on the glass. Then there's a separate process to remove the masking post-cure. Definitely an involved process.

nothing Rick ever had made, the glass that they were selling back then is what was left over in the Gene Cunningham bankruptcy purchase. I bought a bunch of it (im only 40 miles from the old illinois pinball) use to take it to shows and sell at my shop, was a pain in the ass and back then, nobody wanted to pay 125 a sheet. now they would kill to get it for that

Ahh! I stand corrected. I remember hearing about that now that you mention it. Let's hope they can get something together if the demand is there. Otherwise let's hope the market, uh, finds a way.

So now much is it going for these days?

Did not know this what coating is required for this glass that makes it 1k?

There is a one sided transparency gradient on the glass. It’s $1k because there is zero supply left.

Yup. We bought a few sheets back in 2017. You never know when parts go unobtainable.

I still have an extra piece but if I ever break my game glass, I will need it.

I thought I read that he found a glass shop that could do the reflective coating.

It sounded like it was newly manufactured, not a find.

I have a used nice sheet and a nos that still has the protective coating on it.

I found a glass, and at the price I wanted to pay, 100$.
They were available new at Planetary Pinball between October and end of December 2022 for 300$ USD, so why would I pay more for used glass or NOS?
Patience is usefull most of the times.
