(may be this has already been discussed)

    including wizard(s) mode(s), which pin ?

i'm not sure, but Avengers could be a winner here with 8 ?
hulk+loki+battle for earth+5 versus (which are not the same, than fair enough to count each one as different)

    ********
    edit table :

who said too much !? lol : Hobbit
    9 : CV, Rob Zombie
    8 : Avengers, Stargate
    7 : GOT
6 : seems already way to common...

Apollo 13 has 13! It's crazy. I don't know if it's the most but it has to be up there. Apollo 13

    Mustang has a surprising number:

    * Gear Shift MB (and can be Gear 3, Gear 4, Gear 5, or Gear 6)
    * Drag Race MB
    * Burnout MB
    * Upgrade MB
    * MUSTANG MB
    * Silverball Stampede MB

Judge Dredd and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein had 6-ball multiballs, but not sure what other ones have that many.

He means how many multiball modes a game has not how many balls are in play during the multiballs.

Hobbit wins. Every mode is a multiball as well. There's like 100 modes in that game. Haha

At what point is it too many multiballs though?
Do the mutliballs lose their excitement when you just keep getting them???

Absolutely. That's why hobbit is such a snooze fest for me. Well that among other things.

I don't like games with a lot of multiballs...

anyway, stern's star wars has 8 or more multiballs

    #10 6 years ago

    Whaaaaaat.
    Multiball is the bees knees!

    #11 6 years ago

Stargate has to be high on that list

    Quoted from fumbleflippers:

Stargate has to be high on that list

One of the reasons I dislike that game so much....

    #13 6 years ago

Not sure how many exactly but my rfm sure seems to have a lot!

    #14 6 years ago

#cirqus-voltaire has eight, nine if you include the wizard mode - Juggler, Highwire, RM Frenzie, RM Razz, RM Special, RM Battle, Neon, Strike-an-Arc

    #15 6 years ago

Lost in space seemed to have a lot, ive only played it once but had 3 or 4 on ball one

    #16 6 years ago

    Stern SW.

They sure do, that’s why I unloaded my hobbit!

Game of thrones is up there. 7 modes that I can think of and some are 6 balls at once.

    Blackwater multiball
    Battle at the wall
    Winter has come
    Hand of the king
    Iron throne
    Midnight madness
    Castle multiball (pre/LE only)

    RZ has a ton:

    Living Dead Girl
    Dragula
    Superbeast
    Hellbound
    What?
    American Witch
    House of 1000 Corpses
    Demonoid Phenomena
    Dead City Radio

    More I’m probably forgetting

    6 I think

    #21 6 years ago

    +1

But that is all this game has ...

Stern's Spiderman seemed to be multiball crazy and another reason I didn't like it very much and it had to go.

Buckaroo when I play all five balls at once - the whole game is a multiball! yuk yuk

Serious answer is Hobbit, which sometimes feels more like a hit-the-standups arcade game than a goal-oriented pinball.

What about spring break. Push start. Instant multiball....all the time

    #25 6 years ago
    Quoted from T7:

At what point is it too many multiballs though?

It kind of depends. On games where you can use multiball to get through certain objectives I don't think it gets old but it becomes a strategy. Especially if you have to start the mode first to take in the multiball. Or when you can stack multiballs

    #26 6 years ago

ok, let's forget Hobbit than, as its out of range and not in the same league (lol)

    Quoted from amkoepfer:

Lost in space seemed to have a lot, ive only played it once but had 3 or 4 on ball one

these SEGA era pins are based on MB, its the main aim... best example : Godzilla, with 5 MB than +1 with the wizard mode...

    #27 6 years ago

(more confirmed infos about Rob Zombie ? and SW is still in beta)

for now, CV is than top of the list with 9

    ...

Spider-Man Home only has 3 multi-ball modes, but it seems I am constantly in multi ball.

    #29 6 years ago
    Quoted from chippe01:

That's because some Stern games, like Spidey, allow piggy-back multiballs.
Start with Doc Occ...use you free ball time to build Black Suit and then start it...and you play both at once.

Many other titles - once you are in some MB mode...the others are NA until you drain down to 1 ball again (like Xmen - always one at a time).

    #30 6 years ago
    Quoted from fumbleflippers:

Stargate has to be high on that list

Stargate clocks in at 8 multiballs.

*4 multiball modes via the pyramid
*The Sarcophagus starts the main multiball mode
*Eye of Ra multiball after completing all six rounds
*Stargate multiball after completing the Stargate
*Sandstorm multiball after collecting all the transporter awards.

Godzilla has 6 multiball modes and not really anything of a standard mode in the game. The name of the game is trying to stack all 5 regular multiballs and starting them all at once. Save New York is the kinda wizard-mode multiball.

    #32 6 years ago

It's gotta be The Hobbit. I was just having a discussion with someone the other day about how The Hobbit probably holds the record for the most flips per game on average. Between the long ball times and all the multiballs, it really gives your wrists quite a workout.
