I currently own a Hobbit and love it. So much depth to the game that it feels different every time I play it. My only complaint is multiplayer and the very long ball times. It is a lot of standing and watching when others play.
I'm looking for a game that would pair nicely to this setup. Something fast that will keep people engaged during multiplayer games. For a two pin collection I'm looking for some contrast. Thoughts?

Total Nuclear Annihilation
Iron Man
Tron
Stern Star Trek

those are just a couple that come to mind

Getaway with Pinsound is pretty amazing IMO.

The pin I tend to go to after a few games on The Hobbit is Fish Tales. Fast and brutal, it’s a perfect foil for it.

Fast & fun ?

Deadpool for sure.

+1 to fish tales, another suggestion if u want the stern route could be Metallica.

I think another Hobbit would be a good pin to buy. Since it feels different every time you play it. Like two very different games side by side.

Stern Star Wars Premium/LE. As fast and furious as it gets, and way under rated due to so-so art and unconventional multiplier rules (that are great but can equally be ignored).

Maybe something older and simpler like F-14 Tomcat? Great multiplayer game due to the short ball times and easy to understand rules.

ACDC: fast, flowy, risk/reward, great for multiplayer

WOZ: this is a pretty brutal pin and exciting elements for multiplayer.

SW: unorthodox and under appreciated here on pinside. Brutal, fast and fun. Better for more experienced players.

Beatles: this is THE pin to get for multiplayer experience. Best of the bunch if all you want is multiplayer. Fast, fun, quick ball times, modern tech.

I would go with AFM remake or Walking Dead. Both are incredible games and are much different than Hobbit.

I was going to say AC/DC but this list as well.

MBR or AFMR seem to compliment Hobbit well. While maybe not as deep as some newer pins these two are simply fun to play.

I have my Hobbit paired with a Jurassic Park. I think they complement each other very well.
