NAVL getting pretty pricey these days. Just one pin to move.

    Quoted from Pbpins:

What are they charging these days for that run?

quoted me $410 and I have read some stories on here of upcharges later for liftgate etc

Thanks, I am trying uShip otpions now, getting quotes...

    Quoted from ypurchn:

$400 is about the going rate. Even more for “full insurance”
I had good luck with uship.com but that’s very hit or miss. 1 time I got a pin moved for $250. The next time no one wanted to touch it for less than $600.
For fastenal, palleting is doable but having to crate it is just overkill and by the time you spend the time and money plus you still have to take it to them so that time and money. You could have paid someone.

OK, went uShip route, pretty interesting stuff thanks for that lead.

It is like eBaying your load. You put out a load for bid with what you will pay. Offers come in, all higher than I had my bid at but eventually agreed on 250. Guy in a van grabbed the pin earlier today and it is already at my place here in Chicagoland from the Pittsburgh area!!! This whole thing transpired in less than 24 hours, amazing.

Also, like eBay, the shippers have reviews so you can have some idea if this person is any good or reliable.

Total cost was 250 shipping+uShip fee 25=275. I did not choose insurance which was 40ish. I would use this service again.
