Restoring my first pin. It's a Pin Bot...Someone tried to hand paint touch up the front coin door section and it looks horrible so I ordered a stencil to repaint the front.

Would it be terrible on resale value to get the whole stencil kit and re-do whole machine but not do the red and yellow but do red and blue instead?

I am already powder coating the side rails, lock down bar and legs black.

Purists will hate you for doing that. Mod guys *may* like it? You could pull an image of it into Photoshop and mess with the color channels to see if would even look good like that before doing the full stencil. I'd recommend keeping it original - fresh stenciled red and yellow paint really looks incredible on the black.

    Thanks,

I am kind of a purist too with my video games but having a hard time getting used to Pin Bots super cool back glass early 90's kind of look with early 80's side art design.....

    Yes it'll hurt resale.

The next guy pondering buying from you will ponder HIS own resale and if it's feasible... then he won't buy yours unless its super cheap.

    Keep original.

Nobody said you have to use only two colors when doing a cabinet.
