Last weekend, I had a Craigslist find go right and now have a Space Shuttle. Game is in OK shape and needs some love, but the game plays well. Starting to look at replacement ramps and shuttle.

Here are some pictures before I've had a chance to clean:

Thanks for the comments. I think I'll have alot of fun with it. The BG has some flaking (see pics below) and the cab is pretty good except for one bad gouge across the front.

I'll start filling in with LED's (I like the blue GI), but my first fix will be the high power section, as my displays are flickering and it looks to me like R1 and R4 are bad. I ordered replacement parts from GPE and I'm hoping it gets here before the holiday. More to follow.

First Update: I did a pretty thorough cleaning and two coats of wax. Looking good. Displays were 95 % shot, but new new R1 and R4 resistors on the power supply board fixed everything but one digit on the #4 display. I am psyched! Here's a picture of the nice bright displays:

I found about the display issues from Clay's tutorials and also from Ed Cheung's Space Shuttle page - see link below:

I poked around in Pin Wiki and didn't see your case described. I suggest also going through RGP, as I bet your problem has been seen before.

Please share a whole pin shot

Here's a view of the whole pin.

RGP? Got a link

I looked again on RGP but didn't find your issue with the repeating number. Only saw one mention of it on a Gottlieb machine where it was a chip problem. Anyways, if you haven't gone to RPG before, here's the link:
