Quoted from DaveH:Tomorrow I eat pie. That makes it the best holiday! The pinball will be fun, but I'm looking forward to the pie!
Never been a big pie guy, cake is king!
My daughter and wife outvoted me and got pumpkin pie, yuck.
I'm making peach cobbler for myself.
We prepared a bunch of the casseroles already, can't wait for tomorrow.
That is the one thing I miss about baking. Home made pumpkin pie. Home made apple pie with home made cinnamon ice cream.
Enjoy your pie !

PumpecapplePiecakeWedge.pngThe one thing people forget about pie....is the crust...almost an afterthought. If you can bang out a good crust....it makes the pie and its fillings really shine!!! +1 for super CRUST
Quoted from Pinballerchef:If you can bang out a good crust....
someone made a movie about that....
I've been having birthday pies instead of cake for about 40 years now. My daughter even had wedding pie instead of cake.
Pies rule!!
I guess someone had to say it.
Quoted from Whysnow:I prefer pie well trimmed and clean around the edges.
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:I guess someone had to say it.
like we weren't all thinking it.
Quoted from MinusWorlds:How about a poll? My vote goes to cherry
I was enjoying the thread til the mention of cherry. I don't know why. I love all sweets except for that one. My 14 year old daughter is making her raspberry/blackberry pie topped with vanilla ice cream. My mother in law -a pecan pie and apple and pumpkin- Yum! In exchange I brine and bake da bird. Happy Thanksgiving All!!

Quoted from aeonblack:You haven't lived until you've had strawberry rhubarb pie.
It's good to know that I have lived.
Quoted from blondetall:Cookie Mallow Pie.
White chocolate, cool whip, heavy cream, whipped cream cheese, marshmallow cream, biscotti spread, graham cracker crust. My mom is diabetic. I may kill her.
I'm getting fatter (and hungrier) by just reading the ingredients!
Quoted from dontfeed:I'm getting fatter (and hungrier) by just reading the ingredients!
Well, I would send you some, but your screenname told me not to. Lol. Plus I already licked the spoon clean and put it away so I would stay out of it. Husband is cooking everything else from scratch tomorrow, but I wanted to contribute and found the easiest yummiest pie I could make. Buy ingredients, mix in mixer, dump in crust. Done.
