When trying to rotate the photos from a mobile phone, it is almost impossible to press the rotate button. I have to very quickly tap at the very bottom of my attached image to make the rotate button appear, and sometimes it still doesn't. For a while I did not even know I could do this since tapping the photo brings the photo up in another window. I don't think it used to be like this, so I imagine it could be an easy fix to change it back.
